Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel Amano in Berlin war enttäuschend. Die Rezeptionistin war sehr unfreundlich und abweisend. Die Sauberkeit war mangelhaft, mit Haaren im Badezimmer und schmutzigen Gläsern, Geschirr und Mikrowelle. Der Duschkopfhalter und der Haartrockner waren defekt, ebenso wie die Beleuchtung, die flackerte und ausfiel. Das Sofa war verschmutzt und in der Kuche gab es keine Kaffeekapseln. Als ich danach fragte, wurde mir ein überhöhter Preis genannt von 3,50 pro kapsel. Die Internetverbindung war langsam und am Abend funktionierte sie überhaupt nicht. Zuletzt fand ich eine Spinne im Badezimmer. Aufgrund des schlechten Services, der mangelnden Sauberkeit und der defekten Einrichtungen kann ich das Hotel Amano nicht empfehlen.

Terrible noise
Do not stay here if you what a good nigt sleep. Rooms wuth windowns to the street guaranteed noise as the windows are not sound proof. The noise on the street trams, people screaming (its a party area) bars, resturants and clubs and bumping music beats. You will hear it all. I stayed at room 212 .... maybe you van avoid this. The nosie contibed till 4 am. Also there is a bar in the hotel with pumping music so the sound goes into the hotel rooms via the window.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were brilliant. I do not have any complaints. The only recommendation I would have is to allow for more cooked food at breakfast, but that’s just my preference and may not suit the opinion of the majority. Wonderful hotel, thank you for the stay.

Great hotel and wonderful staff. The only issue is that the bar downstairs gets a bit loud on the weekend and you the bass can be heard in the room 3 floors above.

This is a great hotel in an interesting part of the city. Close to transit and many small and interesting boutiques. The hotel itself is nicely designed, the rooms are super comfortable, and the staff is lovely. Excellent value!

Absolutely loved my weekend at the Amano hotel with friends. From Alex at the front desk at check in through the entire experience, this was an outstanding stay. Loved the rooftop bar, and the main Amano bar was absolutely pumping on both Friday and Saturday night. Great, great hotel for a weekend away with friends. I'll be back.

My stay at Amano Berlin Mitte
The room I had was quite and spacious. The breakfast was ok - however I always only got one cup of coffee - maybe this was part of the Corona prevention program. I had breakfast early in the morning when it was empty.

Great location in Mitte, utterly lovely reception staff. Room a tad clinical in appearance but very comfortable, lots of space, great shower, everything spotless. It is a hotel with a lot going on, of which the only thing I sampled was the rooftop bar for a quick drink with a friend. On that hot evening we ordered the bar's very loose interpretation of sangria - hmmm, perhaps don't order it. Apart from that, the hotel's ground floor was always busy in the evenings with bar and restaurant, but I just walked past and to my room and didn't hear a thing. It's a fun hotel if you want it to be, and just a really good and affordable place to stay if you don't. Would gladly go back. Actually extended my stay when I was there.

Great and courteous staff and central location. My initial stay was in a rather tiny room, and I asked the staff to be relocated to a bigger room. And they were able to offer that. I would definitely stay here again.

Great New Year stay
Mid-week stay in a quiet room with comfortable bed, big TV and free wifi. Staff were helpful at check-in, provided information about the area and printed our flight boarding cards free of charge. Access to rooftop bar to see New Year fireworks and party in downstairs lobby area.

Quite satisfactory place to stay. Very large room. All the usual appliances in this type of hotel. Staff quite responsive. Good breakfast. I think it could get busy with large groups but not while we were there.

Worst hotel night ever
I stayed in two different Amano hotel this weekend. And have a visit before. This time the experience was under very standard I have ever seen. I when to bed early Sunday the 6 as had an early morning flight Monday morning. For some reason, the Amano bar and reception was made into one big teenager party the night between Sunday and Monday. The music started at 22ich and when I came down to check out at 04:00 that food and drunk people all over the reception. There were food and drinks on the floor. I needed to wait 10 min in the reception and then some "VIP" taxi driver told me that I could drive with him for 60 euro. Normal trip 25. So I did not sleep and feel very badly treated. I would have taken pictures to facebook but I was too sleepy from not sleeping all night. Best Regards Thomas Paag
