A beautiful hotel, in a beautiful neighborhood. The room was spacious and spot clean, and the staff friendly and efficient. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed all amenities. The sauna was the highlight of it all :-). The streets around the hotel, in this historic neighborhood, are full of life until late in the evening, and the dining on the little sidewalk terraces is diverse and exquisite. Just a little “minus”: the AC was less than expected, but then again we are “polar bears”. Still not enough of a “minus” to subtract from the five star rating. We will stay at this hotel again.

Central and clean.
It was one night stay, so I can't really tell how the site perform handling guests. For an overnight it was fine. I did miss being able to make a cup of tea or coffee after a long drive.

A pleasant place to stay
A pleasant place to stay with good facilities and within easy walking distance to the town. Reception staff were welcoming and efficient. The hotel still lacks some of basic items considered essentials in the modern world such as USB ports or sufficient sockets to cope with business electronic accessories. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of excellent food available. Disappointed with the bar service, appreciated it a busy evening but 15 minutes after the barman acknowledged I was waiting still no drink - so gave up! Garage parking is an additional 20€ per night

I stayed there for 21 nights and it was simply disappointing. They claim to be a so-called “Superior-First Class” property, showing the official 4 1/2 star placard at the door. They don’t have either valet parking or bellman service to start with. The worst part is the beds. You basically have to sleep on nearly floor level, for elderly people or people with disabilities it’s almost impossible to get up without assistance. My mattress was of cheap quality, pillows were worn out and flat. Another thumb down: room cleaning. Glass tables weren’t wiped for weeks, trash bins remained uncollected for up to 5 days, bed linens have not been changed for days, a used coffee pot left untouched on the nightstand for over a week. Thumbs up for decent breakfast but thumbs down for mostly overcrowded breakfast restaurant. (Self)-Parking fee is $22 per day but they give you a 50% discount when you stay over a longer period. Overall, I would rather not return again, there were simply too many issues.

Stayed three nights as a break from a one month stay in Berlin. The hotel is modern and well maintained and staffed. Mostly business people and some tour buses, but is large enough to still feel intimate. I loved the pool and fitness centre. My room was large and extremely clean. The included breakfast was great, almost too many options, but all of good quality. The area is quiet, but found it was a simple walk to SanSouci Palace... and the amazing gardens. The walk to the old city was a safe and easy eight minutes... great eating and shopping area in the old city. I also found a nearby Russian restaurant that was a highlight (Matschkes Gallery Cafe). Very good German style hotel, quiet relaxing and worth a stay.

Great hotel, bar staff and breakfast staff were very friendly. The reception desk staff were also excellent. Loved the free drinks for declining room service helps the environment and gets me a free beer. Lol. Breakfast, room service and bar meals were really good. We would use this hotel again.

I stayed there for over a month, almost 40 nights total. Experience was ok though nothing special. Bed quality is way below average, it helps a bit to put a down comforter upon the mattress to improve sleep quality at least a bit. Housekeeping experience was on the “up and down” side, some days they cleaned thoroughly but most of the days cleaning quality was only mediocre. Breakfast Buffett is of very good quality and quantity, although quite highly priced at €20. Hotel gave me a 50% discount on parking fees of €20/night. Although they claim to be a “Superior First Class” property, there is no valet parking, no bell man, no guest services. A limited concierge service is provided by the Reception staff. They have a nice bar where seating is limited and somewhat uncomfortable. This place often gets overcrowded when they got a convention or when they show live soccer games. I would come back since “luxury” accommodations are very limited in Potsdam. Luxury in quotation marks means that this is definitely not a luxury hotel. I would rate it 3 1/2 stars according to US standards.

Pleasant, practical business hotel in Potsdam
Comfortable, well-appointed modern hotel on edge of Potsdam. Spacious rooms. Very large, somewhat impersonal. Public spaces more conference-oriented than charming. Helpful staff. Good value
