"Well located hotel"
We chose this hotel because it's near all the places of interest that we wanted to visit. We went to Wisley to see the butterflies in the the glasshouse and also walked along the Thames to Runnymede. Went to the station shopping centre. Hotel was clean, staff very helpful and good breakfast.I

"Usually a good stay but not the best room "
Having booked The Hillingdon Prince before and enjoyed the stay we were a little disappointed with the room. It was very hot and took some time with the windows open and fan on for it to cool down. There were also no bed side lamps or alternate lighting to the main light which was far to bright, we ended up removing two light bulbs. The bathroom floor was unfinished. But the room was well equipt with fridge, hob microwave and sink. The bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival.

"Comfortable hotel with really good facilities"
I stayed one night and took advantage of a great offer. Included in the price of breakfast (excellent) was a voucher for a free drink at the bar, and I had a delicious cocktail. Usually these 'offers' cover a small glass of cheap wine, so I was impressed. Lovely room, good facilities, and brilliant breakfast. I felt cared for.

"Pleasant hotel "
Our room was very small, no where to open your case, no handles on wardrobe, no hangers in wardrobe, no headboard on the smallest double bed I have every been in, but room was clean, bathroom new, but a lot of cobwebs on vents. Hotel in being refreshed at the moment, although they said our room had already been done, bit sad! Venue was lovely for wedding and staff were friendly and helpful. I went in other rooms and all of them were better than mine, so in future I think it will be a nice place to visit.

Amazing!! Beautiful room in a lovely setting. Staff where very accomadating and professional. The restaurant we had a great start to the meal, I would highly recommend the goats cheese salad the peacan nuts where perfect a well balanced dish every component was perfect unfortunately that's where it ended, my fillet steak was over cooked I asked for medium rare it came medium well garlic mash under seasoned spinach to salty and was the jus and the chocolate dessert was ok but to much going on the while thing was bland it looks like mains and dessert the presentation was more important then the flavour and marriage of food. But that said it was far from terrible but I just expected more as the starter was perfect in everyway as was everything else in the hotel. Will definitely go back!!

"Great Location Right on the Lake"
Although the drive was somewhat windy, and through the countryside, they have an idyllic location, right on the lake. A beautiful spot to wake-up in the morning, as it is very tranquil. Lovely to sit and watch the water birds whilst you eat your breakfast. The hotel is well established and has been there for a longtime. However this means it is now time for a renovation, new carpets, soft furnishings and wallpaper are needed, along with general re-tiling to bathrooms etc. Very clean and tidy, and staff were pleasant.

Pocket Guide: Conference Centre Hotels in Berkshire

The Royal County of Berkshire is close to the M4 and enjoys excellent transport links both to London and into the heart of England. Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey and Hampshire also surround the county, making Berkshire an ideal place to hold or attend a conference. There's also great independent and high street shopping to be found in Maidenhead, Reading, Windsor and Newbury. There are plenty of museums, castles and other historical attractions to discover. Ascot racecourse is nearby while the River Kennet and River Thames both flow the county, with lots of riverside pubs and cafés to unwind in. A stay in a Conference Centre Hotel in Berkshire means you can discover all that the county has to offer, and still have plenty of time to do business!

    Where to Visit in Berkshire

The River Thames winds its way through Berkshire en route to London. Here you'll find it passes through some delightful towns and countryside, affording plenty of opportunity for meandering and gentle strolling. There are also several locks on the Thames as it winds its way through Berkshire such as Cleeve Lock and Sonning Lock, where you can rest and enjoy a cream tea. Or once the conference is over why not head to Highclere Castle in Newbury - a country house in the Jacobean style set in 5000 acres with a park designed by Capability Brown. Highclere has a suite of opulent state rooms including a fascinating permanent exhibition of Egyptian artefacts. And if it seems a tad familiar that's no surprise - Highclere Castle was used as the setting for the popular drama Downton Abbey.

If you want to impress your business guests then why not have a flutter on the horses? Ascot racecourse is one of the leading and most famous racecourses in England. Used for thoroughbred horse racing, the racecourse was founded in 1711 by Queen Anne and still enjoys Royal patronage, not least with the Royal Meeting and Gold Cup event taking place every June. A conference centre hotel stay in Berkshire lets you relax in style and explore all of this at your leisure.

Facilities are excellent, room sizes are good and the array of amenities such as room service and WiFi enable you to work and relax in a hotel that's modern, comfortable and inviting.
