The food was terrific - breakfast and dinner at Milton's. Our room was very small and bathroom cramped. Renovations are underway. The staff was mostly very nice and helpful.

"Charming hotel in picturesque setting"
We stumbled upon the Queens Arms whilst looking for a weekend break over Valentines day. We were very happy with the hotel set in a charming building in the picturesque Lambourn valley. The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel staff charming. The food menu was tailored towards the valentines visitors and was excellent also the hearty breakfast before heading off to fish a grayling ticket on the Kennet at the Barton Court Fishery down the road.

Fines Bayliwick Hotel

London Road, Binfield, Bracknell - Map

"Good option just for one night"
The hotel is charming. And the bedrooms were comfortable. We spent two nights there. There is no staff overnight to check you in (if yiu arrive late) and our roms were not cleaned the next day one the weekend. One of the staff said they forgot, the other said they never clean on weekends, who knows.... We were not told that that was the case and our towels were not replaced. The breakfast offered at £10 each - continental - is poor in quality. We were told that eggs and bacon were prepared with it and it was not the case. The bathroom had a terrible smell of humidity. We were in room 4. The other rooom (3) was better. Overall, for one night or max two, it is a good cheaper option close to Legoland.

"Good location"
Stayed here for a night out in Windsor. It's close to the town centre. Slightly annoyed the car park was full but found local parking that wasn't too expensive.

"Windsor mini break"
Hotel central with parking, which was great. Staff welcoming but hotel clearly in need of investment in the rooms. Heating was an old air con unit that eventually worked. It was noisy and must waste a lot of energy. Bathroom and bed good though.

Pocket Guide: Conference Centre Hotels in Berkshire

The Royal County of Berkshire is close to the M4 and enjoys excellent transport links both to London and into the heart of England. Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey and Hampshire also surround the county, making Berkshire an ideal place to hold or attend a conference. There's also great independent and high street shopping to be found in Maidenhead, Reading, Windsor and Newbury. There are plenty of museums, castles and other historical attractions to discover. Ascot racecourse is nearby while the River Kennet and River Thames both flow the county, with lots of riverside pubs and cafés to unwind in. A stay in a Conference Centre Hotel in Berkshire means you can discover all that the county has to offer, and still have plenty of time to do business!

    Where to Visit in Berkshire

The River Thames winds its way through Berkshire en route to London. Here you'll find it passes through some delightful towns and countryside, affording plenty of opportunity for meandering and gentle strolling. There are also several locks on the Thames as it winds its way through Berkshire such as Cleeve Lock and Sonning Lock, where you can rest and enjoy a cream tea. Or once the conference is over why not head to Highclere Castle in Newbury - a country house in the Jacobean style set in 5000 acres with a park designed by Capability Brown. Highclere has a suite of opulent state rooms including a fascinating permanent exhibition of Egyptian artefacts. And if it seems a tad familiar that's no surprise - Highclere Castle was used as the setting for the popular drama Downton Abbey.

If you want to impress your business guests then why not have a flutter on the horses? Ascot racecourse is one of the leading and most famous racecourses in England. Used for thoroughbred horse racing, the racecourse was founded in 1711 by Queen Anne and still enjoys Royal patronage, not least with the Royal Meeting and Gold Cup event taking place every June. A conference centre hotel stay in Berkshire lets you relax in style and explore all of this at your leisure.

Facilities are excellent, room sizes are good and the array of amenities such as room service and WiFi enable you to work and relax in a hotel that's modern, comfortable and inviting.
