Escape to this rustic 2-bedroom log cabin in Berkeley Springs. With a wood fireplace, full kitchen, 3 queen beds, outdoor firepit, heating, WiFi, AC, and a washing/dryer, guests will feel right at home. The cabin also features 1.5 bathrooms. While our cabin is on 18 acres of private woods, please note that we do have neighbors that like to hunt, and the sound of gunfire is not unusual in West Virginia. As a true country escape, there is a lot of wildlife in the area. We mostly spot deer and birds, but we have seen the occasional bear and snake. Our cabin is located 30 minutes to downtown Berkley Springs, WV, 20 minutes to Cacapon State Park, and 45 minutes to Winchester, VA

Love this place

The communication leading up to the visit was wonderful. The cabin is nicely stocked and the solitude was needed. We loved the property and walking my dog along the well marked path was fantastic. The Weber grill was great. So impressed with this cabin and so happy we stayed there. Thanks!

Lovely, Secluded Cabin, Perfect for Your Dog

The cabin is so adorable and was surprisingly well stocked. We brought paper plates and utensils, but barely had to use any of our items because the kitchen was fully stocked. The indoor fireplace was so cozy, and Geoff and Sharyn picked the perfect board games to keep us (even as adults) entertained for hours. The property is about 100 meters from another cabin but is decently secluded, especially once the leaves grow on the trees and block out the neighbors. It does have an absolutely stunning view from the top of the hill.At the time we stayed at the cabin, it was in the high 50s/low 60s. We did notice that there seemed to be a large number of bugs, especially crickets, in the cabin. I wonder if it would be less buggy if it were a cooler temperature. The bed was too hard for my fiancé to sleep on, but he did mention the larger coach in the living room was decently comfortable for anyone who prefers a little bit more of a softer mattress. Overall, we spent a wonderful and relaxing 5 days and 4 nights at the cabin. And Geoff and Sharyn were extremely responsive to any messages we sent them. We needed a charger that we forgot, and Amazon was able to deliver it to the mailbox within one day, even though the cabin is decently secluded.We traveled down the road to Creek View Farms. Their baked goods and peanut butter ice cream are fantastic. 10/10 recommend stopping there if you decide to book this cabin.

Cozy cabin has it all

This cabin is a perfect getaway for a couple, or for 2 close couples. It is about 2 hours from DC, so it is the perfect distance for a weekend. The kitchen was small but fully stocked with everything you could need, and there was a grill outside. The large deck was perfect for cocktails in Adirondack chairs. Indoors, we loved sitting by the big stone fireplace.We slept in the first floor bedroom and the mattress was very comfortable. The bed is against a wall, so you have to get in on one side, but it was so peaceful and I slept so soundly it was not an issue. The bathroom was very clean and had lots of shelf space. The property is on a mountainside with lots of trees. Our dog loved it! The views of sunset are amazing. We would definitely like to stay here again sometime.
