"I have been coming to Surfside Motel in Seaside Heights for many years... I think the first time I came here was 1995. I think they have the same furniture here from when I first started coming lol. It is your typical Jersey Shore dive motel. It is an awesome place! If you are expecting a 5 star hotel, this is not the place for you. If you just need a bed, pool, and shower while you are enjoying the Jersey Shore nightlife and boardwalk, this is the spot. It is right across the street from the Boardwalk. Excellent location. The receptionist, Bushella, and the manager, Mike, have been here forever and are friendly and welcoming. The pool is right in the heart of the action and gets sun all day long. I definitely recommend this place!"

"Classic Seaside motel I went to when I was a kid and now I brought my family back to it 40 years later. The place hasn’t changed a bit. Most importantly the rooms were clean. Kids loved the pool. It did have a lot of cigarette butts all around the hallways. We had to get two rooms having five kids. My wife’s room door wouldn’t open when they were inside the room so they had to climb out the window. Definitely a fire hazard. I was surprised they didn’t offer something to us for the inconvenience. The Bloody Mary and mimosas were small at the bar. And the breakfast was very overpriced for the quality of the food. Still enjoyed my stay there. It was very nostalgic and would probably still go back despite it all."

"My daughter and I had a very nice couple of days at the Captain’s Cottage. The entire property was very clean and aesthetically pleasing with the decor chosen. There was plenty of parking on the property. We arrived after hours and Brian was very helpful with logistics. One thing that would’ve been more helpful was the color coded keys to enter the cottage. We had to figure out which key opened what. Not a big deal but after many hours of driving that would’ve been a little helpful. The breakfast in the morning was very good and Veronica was kind and pleasant. Our actual room was beautifully decorated and super clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and we were able to get a good night’s sleep. Pretty view of the marina from our window. Brian responded immediately to questions I had which helped plan for our trip. I would stay again without hesitation! Lovely weekend."

"This home was clean and is very pet friendly the yard is fully fenced so they have space there is a great are for children to play and plenty for the adults to after bed time fire bowl sit an talk etc the bedrooms are spacious and extremely comfortable host communication is easy and feels like talking to your friend not an owner we loved it here and will be back next summer"
