We used this hotel as an overnight stop when taking some family members to Bergerac airport. Can't really find fault with anything. Clean, comfortable, welcoming friendly staff and secure parking. If we'd had more time there was even a very inviting pool. Would definitely stay again.

Good, clean, basic, hotel. We had a quadruple family room which was fine for what we needed : a clean base from which to explore a beautiful part of France. The room was split into 2 levels, 2 single beds on the lower level & double bed on the upstairs mezzanine. The upper level got very hot ( we were there in a heatwave!) but lower level stayed cool with the air conditioning.
Good buffet breakfast, clean swimming pool, staff were friendly & were helpful with my rusty French.
The attached restaurant served lovely food.

Adequate budget hotel in centre of Bergerac well position for the centre and with more than adequate facilities. Parking place in a secure location to rear yard. Didn't eat or drink at the hotel as there were numerous other places win walking distance. Would have no hesitation staying here again.

Having the apartment for the three days we were in area was great for the family we were able to prepare family meals and there was nice pizza place just up the road. Only down fall (but most of France seems to be same) no ceiling fans and bedrooms were very hot. Also on arrival we were presented with an itinerary of kitchen goods, furniture, etc and asked to check everything there and return form next day. I found this annoying as I expect housekeeping to have already made sure everything there for our arrival, I do not think guests should be asked to do that. It put a little bit of pressure on us on our short stay and left us a little miffed, but otherwise had a nice stay and would recommend.
Surrounded by vineyards and tobacco fields, this small inland port looks more towards Bordeaux than the Dordogne. A Maison des Vins in an ancient convent and a couple of museums pay homage to local industries and a once-thriving river trade. Rostand’s hero Cyrano presides over a quiet square in the old town, though his links with Bergerac are purely fictional. South of town, Château de Monbazillac showcases Bergerac’s celebrated dessert wine.
