Lovely staff, great location

Posted 17-Sep-2017
Great location handy to Aqualandia and Levante Beach, bus stop right outside hotel, great pool with lots of lounges. Reception staff were excellent. But rooms need deep cleaned bathroom especially, beds rock hard, pillows seriously lumpy, sheets not changed daily and only the bare minimum of cleaning was done, no kettle, tea or coffee in rooms. Breakfast ok but hot food more often cold than hot and needed plenty of seasoning.

Lovely break

Posted 12-Sep-2017
Spent five nights at the Melia and was overall pleased with the stay. Did a lot of research before booking a hotel as some looked nicer than others! The Melia is a short walk from the main town which suited us, the staff were friendly, room was clean, food was to a good standard and pools were good. Overall for the money, we were very pleased and should we decide to visit again, we would stay at the Melia.

!! 3 Star hotel ... not a 4 Star !!

Posted 31-Jul-2017
Pros: The one saving grace was the outdoor pools, great for children.
Cons: Everything
Location: I would recommend the old town side of Benidorm over this location.
It took 45 minutes to check-in as they could not find our booking - the check-in staff were unwelcoming and unfriendly. When we finally got into our room the floor was dirty and the fridge was not fit for anything. We were all-inclusive and after 3 days we were bored with the lack of variety, quality and limited choice of food. The restaurant staff are overworked and under-staffed. Some nights we waited up to 20 minutes to be asked what drinks we wanted. The evening entertainment did not start until 21:30 for the children and was disappointing, as was the adults entertainment which started at 22:30. Apart from your room the hotel felt like it had no further air-conditioning, especially the lifts! ... Overall we were really disappointed with our stay.

Very nice hotel near many pubs with great shows

Posted 29-Jun-2017
Pros: Clean with good food, our third visit.
Cons: sometime the menu could be a bit more varied.
Location: Ten minutes walk to the beach, many facilities locally.
All went well until the early morning breakfast on the last day, due to a mistake by the staff, we left before they could sort the problem.

Lovely Hotel.... Had a great holiday!

Posted 28-Jun-2017
Pros: The pool, very friendly staff and modern decor.
Location: There's plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets very close by. The beach is a short walk approximately 10- 15 mins
From the onset, we were welcomed from very friendly and helpful staff. The room was lovely with modern decor. The air conditioning was a great addition to the room, although was a bit noisy at times. In the bathroom was tidy although, using the shower was a little bit of an ordeal with the water temperature going hot and cold at times.. The hair dryer wasn't all that good, I wish that I had taken my own but would probably be ok for someone with short hair. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and enough seating for everyone. The pool area was lovely and plenty of activities to get involved with if you wanted to. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Visited with friends for a few days. Hotel was ideal location, not to near The Square but easy way to centre and plenty of entertainment within that area. Hotel is ideal for short stay. It is a basic 4* and really needs a good clean and refurb, but for the money it did the job. Rooms are comfortable and we had pool view. Lifts are extremely slow, we were on 18th floor so time consuming but better than having to take the stairs! Would we stay again ? Yes as it is reasonably priced and location is good.
