Excellent location near great dining options and walkable to other options. Easy to get Ubers and rickshaws. LOUD BOOMING music played until 1am. Very hard to sleep through that. When staff did daily cleaning, they did not do dishes or clean trash. Shower was awful. It was a handheld device only, broken and sprayed EVERYWHERE (including ceiling if you were not careful and quick). It was extremely difficult to keep the tub area dry. Not a relaxing, comfortable or enjoyable experience in the least.

Poor breakfast, great front desk and IT
For starters I was appalled by the poor quality breakfast - Indian and Western. The food was downright unpalatable. You need a new chef and team in charge of Food and Beverages. Great front desk and IT support from Tapas and Nelson respectively. They made sure all support was provided in a timely manner and retained the guest (my family) for the week.

1. The fridge in the room was defective, it make tic-tac sounds the whole night and the house keeping did not respond. 2. The shower water is just luke warm, not hot enough to take shower in Bangalore. I was told it had VIP access and unfortunately there was nothing of that sort or couple dining. Many disappointments, I would not choose this place again. Thanks.

Could be better
The property is very beautiful location is excellent but it needs a lot of upgrading in terms of staff training and also in terms of upkeep of the place stop at times air-conditioning is not cool fridge had to be replaced water was dripping from the air condition Overall I personally feel they have an excellent location but need they need to refurbish the place and bring it up to the standard in spite of everything we enjoyed the stay but I would think twice before coming back over here Kamesh Khaitan with six of my family members staying here from 13th of August and checkout on 19th of August

stylish apartment
great little apartment! i wish we had stayed longer so i could have used the kitchen for snacks or something. i did use the laundry machine and dryer. the hotel even provides detergent! nicely decorated. adequate sized rooms. comfortable seating and bed. location is very good - near many restaurants.

Staff were friendly, restaurants very close by. Room is spacious and clean. I would suggest bigger toilet paper rolls as they were very small and there were no spares in the room.

The property is listed as a 5 stars hotel. It may have been 15 years ago and its glory days a well past. As it stands, i would give it a 3 stars. The JW Marriott is next door,. Book that one instead and you won't be disappointed.

Short and sweet stay
It's a nice upscale place and is in the same compound of UB City Mall, so there are some very nice places to eat. The room was quite spacious with very good views of the city.

We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. We have noticed that you were uncomfortable for giving you ID up on check in but we have to follow the Check in formalities as it is legal document and also we found that you were un happy with Visitor Policy but Since Jan-2018 Visitors in room from 9pm to 6pm are not allowed. we had conversation with your other business colleagues, who were staying in the same room i.e.. Ms. Shruti and other guest had wonderful experience with us and they would love to com back again. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Convenient and clean
I was satisfied and will return. The pluses: quick check in and the 12 noon check out was good to have. the spaciousness of room was great the negatives no night light light switch in bathroom on wrong side of door no pork on the breakfast menu

This is an old property which is visible in the look and feel. The towels were old and had stains, just did not feel clean. The staff were very friendly and housekeeping service was very prompt

Convenient and comfortable stay....
A decent apartment with a very generous sized rooms, toilets, etc... Well equipped health club as well... The variety in breakfast was very limited for a 5 star category property ... But the service of the restaurant and also the entire hotel was very nice... A nice location and size of the rooms made the stay a memorable experience

Very Disappointing...unhelpful staff.
Disappointing stay at the Oakwood. Arrived to find a nice large 2 bed apartment for myself and work mate. Going well until day two and we didn't have our room cleaned for some reason. We requested a new towel each at 7pm that night and didn't worry too much more. Then we had a phone the following day asking us why we had extra guests staying, we explained we didn't. We didn't even know anyone else in Bangalore. Housekeeping then came the next day and kept asked if we wanted water for our extra guests?? Once again we had no idea why they asked us this. We were then charged twice for the Internet on the same day (expensive to start with!) and the front desk was anything but helpful with twice being asked for a second key for the rooms, refused to call or assist with local taxis or provide info about the area. Kept trying to sell the hotel car service. Went to ITC just for breakfast and had 20 times more assistance from their concierge service than ours?? Finally to top it off, they charged us $150 more than they quoted ($400) for an extra 24 hrs when our plane was delayed when checking out the next day. Won't be back and advising friends to stay elsewhere. Poor poor service for a '5 star hotel.'

Nice place but Staff members are not cooperative.
Specially Staff members. Not courteous. Waiters are terrible. Don't know what they are doing. Need training.
