However, the front entrance had a 12 inch step to get onto the porch! (Surely, that’s against building code. At least, push a couple of cinder blocks against the rise to allow older knees access. My 85 yo mother had to enter through the garage into the utility room.) Nitpicks: (1) some smaller spoons would be nice (we bought plastic picnic ones at the store). (2) instructions with the coffee maker would help, as would coffee filters (again, bought—and left— some from the store). Highlights: Used the hot tub nightly (the tub guy came twice! very clean). Enjoyed the ping pong table. Some deck boards at the hot tub are loose and dangerous. Hot tub was low on water. The dryer vent had not been cleaned. It was very nice to have a second refrigerator to use. When we asked for more dishwasher pods (we were only given 3 for a 5 night stay), the answer was, "You should have brought some if you were staying that long." The house really needs some love, the 2nd floor does not cool down, dirty dishes in kitchen cabinets had to be re-washed, hair in one of the beds for sure, smell the water treatment plant that is behind, and to top it off I fell and twisted my ankle on the cinder blocks provided as a step to the front entry;( That was the end of the issues and we left 3 days earlier than supposed to. With that and many phone calls to Vacasa, Zero of them were returned as I was asking for a partial refund. Completely unacceptable When it comes to customer service. I will never use Vacasa again because of this and the terrible lack of communication with my concerns. I received zero acknowledgement, phone calls or any type of refund still to this day two and a half weeks later (I phoned again today and they have informed me I will not be given a refund) Terrible. ##### Carlye S.
