Rooms are very nice and all but one have their own bathroom. Large kitchen could use a few more items, but everything was clean and in working order. Gate entry was a little confusing as you can only get into the neighborhood via one gate (this wasn't super clear in the check-in instructions). Guest services was very helpful when we had questions. The house itself has a great layout, good lighting, lots of closet space, a large garage and comfy living room furniture. I would not however call it luxury. There are 8 of us cousins/sisters in our 60’s and 70’s that meet yearly. We choose this house to try and it was perfect! With three master suites on the lower floor only two had to climb the stairs to the beds upstairs. Great hot tub that was easy to get into. Lots of outdoor comfort with the chairs and fire pit. The only down side was the classy but not too comfortable furniture on the inside. We felt very safe in this gated community. The house is located in the appealing Caldera neighborhood but renters should know that only homes rented through SunRiver Realty have access to the golf courses. The house is very dirty, worn carpets, hot tub that overheated continuously for 8 days of our 23 day stay, mildew in the coffee maker, dirty cabinets. Missing amenities were brought pretty quickly when requested but I kind of got tired of playing housekeeper/property manager when we paid a pretty penny for this rental. Well appointed kitchen, plenty of room and private comfortable bedrooms. The hot water is on a circulating loop and it is at the tap or shower head in moments. When we arrived the driveway was mostly a sheet of ice and no effort had been made by Vacasa to make it anything less than treacherous. There was a five gallon bucket with about two pounds of ice melt sloshing around in water at the bottom on the front porch and a bargain basement snow shovel in the garage. We managed to devote two plus man hours to clearing safe walking space to areas of the driveway and blast paths to the hot tub and gas grill which by the way had no working ignitor nor was the house equipped with anything to light it with. Once lit the grill worked fine and some in our group enjoyed the hot tub. The living room TV is a large flat screen mounted above the fireplace mantle. The mantle is quite high so watching TV felt like watching it on the ceiling. Not a big deal as we came to ski and visit each other and fix some great meals. I received an email from Vacasa the day before our scheduled departure on a Wednesday in Late January, inviting me to buy a late check out to 2PM from 10AM. We opted not to buy it because we knew we'd be out close to 10AM. On check out day the housekeeper was in front of the house at 9:45 AM essentially tapping her foot. All but one of our group departed at five after 10AM and one in our group was finishing a conference call for around another 30 minutes. Vacasa was calling me leaving a demanding voicemail regarding checkout at 10:20AM. We all had left the housekeeper good tips and weren't too concerned about the demanding voicemail. Vacasa came across as a bit too rapacious on this issue. ##### William L. Even though the windows are up high it still would be nice to block out the light. The house is beautiful I really enjoyed the stay. ##### Del H.
