The best feature of the hotel is the pool and pool bar area - lots of sun, and there is really no need to book the €10 beds unless you are keen to have a view of the sea.
The hotel is extremely clean and well taken care of, and of all the staff the housekeeping staff were very helpful and accommodating.
I think in other areas the hotel is still finding it's groove and some staff could use more training, and in many cases there was a language barrier. For example one morning I asked where I could go for a coffee, even a take away coffee, and was told there weren't any places within a 15 minute walk. On the last day we found out we could nip down to the breakfast room and get a coffee without booking breakfast. There seemed to be a lot of up-sell on breakfast and other meal buffets but lacking in general information.
The truly negative points of the hotel are twofold: doors and noise. Inside the rooms the bathrooms are 'open' plan with a door on the walk-in shower, and a VERY thin door to the toilet that doesn't quite reach the ground, so there is very little privacy. The other 'door' issue is that the doors to the rooms are set to close firmly when people leave, which is fine, but which also means they SLAM shut every time someone leaves, so by 8am if you are still in your room it is one long succession of slamming doors. In addition you can hear quite a lot of corridor noise (if very little noise from adjacent rooms).
