The Staff at This Hotel were so friendly and Helpful, The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained , the location was Perfect, close to city center and Attractions, the Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options. Will Definitely Stay Here Again.

Great location, Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Very good breakfast. Property very clean; but old and in need of renovation. I would stay at this hotel again.

Fantastic Stay
My stay was fantastic. The room was nice and had everything I needed (including reliable wifi and wonderful water pressure in the shower). The location is great, close to everything! The staff was also super helpful and nice. Xanti and Gabriela went above and beyond. Will definitely return to the Royal Golden.

the male receptionist is not nice
The male receptionist who is at the front desk during the mornings and afternoon should be smarter and treat the guests right, not being sarcastic, he made me feel very uncomfortable also no sympathy at all, not even a single good morning to the guests who are getting into the hotel, not only with me and my partner, I could notice that it seems he is not pleased to work in a hotel.

Overall I loved the hotel. Really good for what you pay, but you definitely get the feeling that the staff doesn’t care a lot. I requested to pay for a late checkout and even though they had availability online in multiple channels reception insisted that there is no availability

The hotel has friendly staff and a good breakfast. There was music outside all night long and loud traffic from 6am. The beds and pillows are uncomfortable.

The accommodations were comfortable and clean. Some of the hotel staff were less than friendly . My elevator key didn't work both times I had to go up. When I asked for help, no apologies were made. The person helped me without saying a single word. Overall, I had a pleasant experience .

Area is convinient if driving or walking, very hard to get a cab. Front deak is understaffed. They had an event and checkin took extra long. Staff willing to help and acommadating on speacial request for extra towels. Only CNN for news channels.

Very nice stay, friendly staff, comfortable bed (and amazing pillows!), delicious breakfast! The staff is very helpful for any kind of issue you would have - they helped me make a call in Portuguese to schedule an appointment somewhere!

Very good hotel in a safe and calm neighborhood. Upon arriving my reservation couldn't be found. But I showed them the receipt I received and they immediately found a room for me, no problems. Can't complain about anything!

Comfortable business hotel close to city center
I've stayed at this hotel once before, recently, and already reviewed it. The hotel remains an solid choice in central Belo Horizonte. Great breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Oddly small bathrooms but with excellent showers. Short walk to Praca da Liberdade. Restaurants nearby. Safe area. One tip: if you are arriving by bus from the south (Rio, Ouro Preto, Sao Joao del Rei, etc.), consider asking to be let off on "Rua Professor Morais." You'll only be a ten minute walk from the hotel, as opposed to staying on the bus to the bus station which will take you 20 minutes out of your way that you then need to repeat to get back to the hotel. (But note that this really only works if you can carry your stuff pretty easily).

I had a short one-night stay at the Royal Golden Hotel, but I enjoyed it very much. My room was very large and comfortable. The bed and bedding were new. A/C was excellent. WiFi was fast. Minibar well stocked. Best of all: a great shower with excellent water pressure and lots of hot water--best shower I had in Brazil. The bathroom was otherwise small--strange given how large the room was, but the shower more than made up for it. I liked the location too, a few blocks away from the main square in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Nice stay. Would definitely return.

Lovely contemporary and clean, friendly helpful staff, very good restaurant. Good location a few blocks from the major plaza. Our room had very little storage, and the bathroom had NONE. No space for toiletries, awkward configuration. But clean and new. It seems perfect for a man who travels with toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant and a hairbrush. Women will need to use the top drawer in the small closet, outside the bathroom, for toiletries.

Royal Golden in Belo Horizonte
Very nice hotel in good location with restaurants and shopping near by. Room was nice. Bed comfortable. Great breakfast buffet. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Had English speaking staff on every shift.....great for us non-portuguese speakers. We would recommend this hotel.

I paid extra for a double bed, but upon arrival the hotel said they had none. The twin bed was horrible as was the condition of the room. The staff was not friendly and the breakfast was sub-par.

Fantastic spot in Belo Horizonte
Terrific hotel, can't say enough good about it. Centrally located, beautiful lobby and bar, spacious, luxurious room...really just fantastic all around. The service was very good and pointed me to a great restaurant. I'll stay here every time I find myself in BH!

O banheiro do quarto estava bem sujo, com sujeira acumudada nos cantos e rejuntes, junto de cabelos. Pedi para limparem e conseguiram tirar toda a sujeira que estava quando cheguei. Além da sujeira, o café da manhã deixou a desejar na reposição em um dos dias

Hotel, atendimento e café da manhã ótimos. Único ponto negativo é a taxa extra do hotel de 10% sobre a diária. Quando soma tudo ele encarece bemmmm. Mas ainda é um dos poucos de BH que aceitam 2 crianças no quarto. Vale a pena!
