"The room was gorgeous! Bravo for the elevated and tasteful decor. The exterior does need a little facelift here and there as it is an older hotel, but there is a "classic," old Hawaii charm about it. Bell Attendant was a bit pushy when we did not let him take our bags before check in - asking repeatedly - when guaranteed check in was only 30min out. Other than that, the staff at the Veranda was so nice and cheerful and dinner at Arancino was amazing. This is a great option to stay outside of Waikiki."

Home was clean, well equipped kitchen to cook and grill, beds were all comfortable, bathrooms well stocked, and very comfortable living room areas for family to gather and talk about the day. Lastly, appreciated the quick response to my questions and warm welcome from Private Homes! We plan on returning!"

"We had the absolute best time here!! The rental is clean with everything you need to be comfortable. I love the little kitchenette, so that we could make food and not have to eat out every meal. The location was exactly what we were looking for! It was just a quick 1-2 min walk to the beach to watch the sunrise. Lanakai beach is just a few minutes away by car. Kailua is such a cute area….central to many small local shops. I love supporting local! Our host, Zak, was super nice and accommodating of our needs. Actually, all the people we met were super friendly and welcoming. This really was the best trip!"
