The upgrade to the larger suite was lovely, plus birthday surprises as well. The dinner in the restuarant was superb, and everyone should do the fonsue cooking lesson, so much fun and cheese.

Rude staff. Loud music from bar until late 1am. Room were not what I asked for. Room temp was over 80 degrees I. Both rooms.

Room was clean and inviting. Linens in excellent condition. Water and chocolates placed in side table for us. Sofa bed was made up, ready to use which was very much appreciated. Would recommend hotel.

This property has really nice decor, cozy ambiance and staff were very helpful. Room and bathroom were very clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathrooms are modern but small. If you are tall, the shower in our room would not have worked for you. This varies by room as our second room, the shower height was fine. Restaurant food and service was very good. Location was convenient to the lake but it was loud outside at night as there is a pub open until 5am near by. We heard people screaming outside on the street at 3am. Also, you can smell the cheese fondue throughout the reception - if you are sensitive to smells or not a fan of the smell of cheese, this will bother you. The elevator is also very small but this is common in Switzerland. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Swiss gem near the lakeside
A really lovely cosy hotel a skip from the lake. Fantastic restaraunt with live music to accompany the meal. A one man umpa band including a giant horn extraveganza. Nice breakfast too.

A very clean, bright and spacious room with easy access to everything. Lot of storage space and nice decor. Staff is friendly. A very good breakfast in the property restaurant, which is also great for dining in the evening with some entertainment. Would return again. Thanks!

Excellent experience!
I stayed at Hotel Edelweiss for a weeklong business trip and would highly recommend it! The room was well designed, very clean, and comfortable, the location was great for walks to the Christmas market along the lake, but the best part was the staff (especially Fritka), warm, hospitable, and very helpful (from providing directions to an umbrella). Thanks for everything!

The room was large and the bathroom was nice and clean. We were able to walk around without any safety concerns. the parking was a bit challenging, but we managed ok. It's a short walk to the train station.

Three night enjoyable stay.
This is a friendly warm hotel with very comfortable beds and soft pillows in a quiet location. There is a telephone in the room and shampoo, shower gel and tissues in the bathroom, extras that too often have disappeared from other higher rated hotels. We were also greeted by complimentary cooled wine and bottles of water. We didn’t have breakfast but fondues in the ‘Alpine’ restaurant were excellent - and so was the fun atmosphere! It is also close to many shops and cafes as well as a short walk to the lake. Would definitely come back next time we visit Geneva.

Very friendly and helpful staff at reception and at breakfast. Large selection at the breakfast buffet. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the station, 10 minutes, and close to the lake. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a kettle etc. There was a musty smell from the shower in the mornings but it went away when the water started running. There are handy shops beside the hotel.

Wonderful stay
We stayed for a night, and throughly enjoyed the service provided during this short trip. The front desk clerk was extremely nice, and he recommended local spots to try out. The room itself was clean and cozy, the mountain theme is very cute, and the modern bathroom was wonderful. No complaints about our stay here.

Hotel was very good in Geneva. Interesting interior design but big enough for all of us. Bathroom was kind of small though . Breakfast was good. Hotel was close to bus stop and train station. Walkable to dining options . Took bus to roam around the old town, eat at the Pier and walking on the bridges near by, it was safe but buzzing with crowd. love the free wine bottle provided as perk. Staff were very good and helpful.

Stayed here for a couple of nights with my Dad. Very cute and clean. Loved the decor. Close to Lake Geneva and restaurants/ shops. Free water taxi and bus transfers for guests. Nothing bad to say. Only downfall was the restaurant was closed for dinner on Sunday.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The property is convenient and right next to a bus stop (Bus 1 & 25). Location is convenient and located in a quieter street but charming with lots of stores and dining options. The only thing that didn’t work was the safe in the room. After trying several times, we asked the front desk personnel and she wasn’t able to fix it either, but overall, our 1-night stay was comfortable and we slept well.
