"We stayed for the marathon which staged the start/finish line very close to the hotel. So for that, it was perfect. It was not beach weather but I assume that during summer, you could walk to the beach. It is a very simple hotel. We were upgraded to a larger room so couldn’t check in on the app. Our room was fine. Plenty of space. It was a little noisy in the evening because our room was right behind the front desk. But the folks were great and the service was wonderful. I would stay again"

"We loved it!! The staff was so nice to us and to our dog!! Beautiful historic atmosphere. I was a little surprised there was no fridge, so just check on that if you’ll need one, but we got by fine putting things on ice! Great room service too. Delicious food!! "

We chose to stay on property most of the time and enjoyed getting to know Ray, Paige, Kevin, Julia, our waiter from both nights and the night lady who took over from Paige. They all went out of their way to make us comfortable and took great care of us during our time. "
