Pro’s - view on water side is beautiful.
Con’s - staff is unfriendly, seems like they don’t want to be there and don’t care about their guests.
- hotel is dirty, stains on sofa in 3rd floor lobby, carpets not clean, dirt on handles in room.
- most of the “community” TV’s were off.
- vending machines were probably removed during Covid, but not returned.
- ice machine on 3rd floor was broken.
- no chairs on the balconies to sit on.
- breakfast initially seemed good, however, all the eggs were very over cooked and the waffles were under cooked. No meat options.
- some of the staff had difficulties communicating in English.
- considering we were there so close to Christmas, there was very little in the way of decorations and what was there seemed to be just “thrown” together.
- hair dryer in room had live electrical wires hanging out from behind the wall cover. Easily reachable by children and right beside the water taps.
- none of the staff wore any uniforms or name tags. No way to tell who actually worked there.
- hotel is overall very dated. Needs updating.
- there were 2 sets of towels, 1 set of soap and shampoo, but there were 3 guests registered and paying for the room.
