"Charming very clean little wooden chalet with a lovely view over the lakes from a large balcony with sunloungers and a table for 6. Set on a small family run camping site it is in beautiful grounds. Nathalie cannot do enough, very friendly and helpful checking regularly that everything is ok and nothing more can be done. There are free pedalos on one lake and other activities and games. It is a 20 minute walk through the trees and by lakes to the village where there are shops and a super u....

"Location, location, location! Very old part of the city and some areas around are not in good shape! The apartment does not have internet but is otherwise well equipped. The view of the Loire out the front windows is lovely. Nice to watch the boats go by. If elderly with lots of luggage, this apartment is not for you! "First off, the staff are exceptionally kind and friendly. They give you great ideas and offer solutions and tips (e.g. where to park for free and where to park to avoid thefts). It’s a happening area. Great restaurants attract people and it’s a hub for transportation so it’s always alive with activity but not the bad kind. We found it wonderful to get off the train and walk “home” in a few metres. Especially since our train was delayed due to an incident on the track. We walked from Hotel Suzane to the tourist office, got city passes, walked the blue line, saw great castles (by car) and went to the incredible David d’Angers museum. Got water and a few snacks at the nearby convenience store. Got great coffee at Hotel Suzanne’s cafe. Had amazing desserts and sandwiches at the Boulangerie downstairs (next door) and an evening meal at Bouillon. Great food. Great people. Our bathroom was small but the hotel was extremely generous with towels and it was clean and comfortable. We would stay there again. "
