"The manager I spoke with was very kind, respectful, and professional. Expedia informed me that I could check out before 8:26 p.m., and I have screenshots and other evidence to support this. However, my experience the next morning was completely different. A woman came to my room, knocked loudly on the door, and repeatedly shouted, “Open!” When I opened the door, she immediately said, You have to leave now. The guy is coming to clean the room. I understood that I needed to check out before 2:00...

"Property is beautiful, and felt like home. Owner was very responsive to last minute issues. Very close to the bus stop. Once you are in the COMO area, be ready to walk. The UBER, Taxi are not reliable at all and the bus service is very poor during the day, but runs free service at night after 7/730 pm, which is pretty regular and nice. Will stay here again on my next visit as well, may be will bring less luggage... lol."

"This place is one the best ones in which we have ever stayed: very spacious and comfortable, with lots of useful equipment (especially for children) and a great kitchen. The view on the mountains is wonderful, the village is very quiet and nice, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful, welcoming us with delicious cheese and local products. On our next trip in North Italy, we will arrange to come back to this amazing place !"

"Pros: Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung direkt wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist wirklich toll und der Blick über den See vom Balkon aus einfach wunderschön. "Wonderful apartment, very cute and quiet village. Very clean, comfortable, safe. Communication excellent. I recommend you have a rental car. I didn't and it is a 15-min/ 1km hike up from the very reliable and inexpensive ferry and train. It took me (not young and used to the US suburbs) a day to get acclimatized to this - it is an alpine village. The town of Lierna and this apartment are perfectly suited to day hikers. "

Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni

Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni

10/10 Excellent
"From start to finish, our stay at Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni was extraordinary. We wanted to splurge on somewhere special, and it was absolutely worth it. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Bellagio and steps from the ferry, with spectacular lake views. The concierge team helped us plan weeks before arrival and arranged all our transportation. They knew us by name, asked about our experiences, and made us feel truly cared for. Breakfast in the magnificent grand room was a daily highlight, as were our evening nightcaps in the grand ballroom with live piano music each night. We also enjoyed the onsite restaurant, La Goletta, and playing tennis on the lovely court. Highly recommend for a special stay in Lake Como. We cannot wait to return!"
