Location: I found it easiest to catch a cab from the ferry landing to get to the hotel. Any cabs we took all knew exactly where to go and price was always the same, 10 euros. Very fair and all professional drivers in nice cars. Of course, there is also a shuttle offered by the hotel and some restaurants, so you easily limit cab usage.
Views: Views from the patio and balcony are second to none!
Staff: Friendly and ultra accommodating. They managed to even find us a car for early departure (hard to do) so we could get to the train in Varenna on time.
Rooms: Spacious and comfortable and great shower. The only reason I didn't give the room 5 stars is because you cannot keep the air condition on/running at your desired temp for more than 20 mins (I timed it). So, if it's warm out and you're used to AC in the states, plan on potentially being hot at night. If they are going to limit my ability to keep the AC on, then a fan would be nice. You can't just turn the AC fan on and leave a door open, as opening the door shuts off the AC altogether.
Overall: 4.9 out of 5, We loved Bellagio and we loved our stay! This is a place we will visit again!
Stayed here 5 nights in a superior room. The staff are fantastic, the view breathtaking and the room was large and well equipped. One huge bonus was the bar/meals at this hotel - they are brilliant value with large beers at 3 Euros, bottles of prosecco starting at 8 Euros and evening meals with wine at 25-50 Euros per couple, depending on how many courses and drinks you take. The taxi service down to the town three times a day comes in handy too if you fancy a change from sitting on the huge terrace. A wonderful, wonderful place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Fioroni. Family run; nothing too much trouble for them. We could not have been looked after better. We were at a wedding at The Villa Renza. We had the luxury of being picked up by family but when a taxi was required it could be a bit of a hit or a miss and we thought we were near the town centre of Biaggio. We were 0.6 miles from the centre of a town but not the centre of Biaggio. Having said this we could not fault our holiday. The Hotel, the friendliness of the people and the scenery were all fantastic.
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was small but clean and well-equipped - air conditioning worked well. Lovely terrace area outside room was a bonus.
Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Hard-work to get suitcases up the steps to the hotel but staff did offer help.

Known as 'the pearl of the lake', Bellagio sits on the spike of land dividing Lake Como into its two 'legs' and is best reached by boat. Russet-roofed houses in pastel colours spill through a maze of cobbled streets bright with geraniums. The gardens of two famous villas can be visited. Villa Serbelloni, now owned by the Rockefeller Foundation, stands on the site of a house owned by Pliny the Elder. Villa Melzi sits on the lakeshore.
