"When we got to our room, it was open and not cleaned...at 9pm! Got another room....while it appeared to have been cleaned, ready for customers...the floor was carpet and chunks of debri on it, headboard had footprints and handprints on it, shower curtain was torn and dirty, the tv remote did not work and breakfast was a joke. Staff was ok, not rude just not very customer service type and looked about 12\. "

"If you are looking for a secluded stay this is it! It is just as listed, rustic, historic, quaint and quiet. It was a great place for my cousins and I to have a get together. The owner was very attentive and came right away when we had a problem with the fireplace and hot tub. If you are looking for a five star resort this is not for you. If you are looking to relax in the country it will not disappoint."
