Liked the upgrade to a club room and the room service breakfast for our room was very good. Unfortunately for our travel companions their room service slip was never picked up and had to go to the restaurant which was inconvenient for an early start. There was a reopening event and obviously too much time and effort went towards these non-paying guests and their freebies

We enjoyed our stay here, a convenient location for links to the George Best airport and walking to Queen’s university (albeit this is a bit of a walk). The hotel was having some renovations done during our stay, but it didn’t affect us. Rooms were nice and it was quiet.

The room was very hot even with radiator off and window open. I mentioned it at reception on check out and they said they had air conditioning. I checked they don't have it in bedrooms!! Also charged £21 for each breakfast whilst on tables in dining room it said it was £19. Don't like not being told truth and being charged the wrong amount for breakfast.

Arrived at hotel to find renovations being carried out with no mention of this at the time of booking. Having to walk through a building site to get to our room. Hotel lobby has music playing from 6am - 2am with speakers fixed to ceiling which means you can hear the music in your room while trying to sleep. Reception not interested.

We had a lovely stay although the room was tired and noisy. We could hear the upstairs guests walking around quite loudly and the shower was in poor condition. I appreciate there are renovations taking place and of updated would stay again. The staff were super lovely and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Location wise it couldn’t be better.

Although work was being carried out at the hotel it did not disrupt our experience. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food and service was great and the town centre was easily accessible. Will definitely stay here again.

Liked; *Option to trade room cleaning for a free drink. *Staff very friendly *Food was amazing Disliked; *Dirty socks and tissues under my bed from previous guest(s). *Advertised as having a gym. This is a big stretch. They have one treadmill and a cross trainer in a room more like a cleaning cupboard. *Lifts hit and miss if they worked. *Refillable soaps looked like they had semen swirling around in it.

Sadly we stayed at the Malmaison during a refurbishment! So it was not at its best!! Cold Dining area & false partions & builders on site. Still there is never a good time to do a refurb unless you shut the Hotel. Nice people but just bad timing forvour visit.

Very friendly staff throughout our stay. Shannon at the front desk helped us get sorted with a dinner booking for that night once hearing we were planning to go somewhere busy. Bed very comfortable and breakfast also very good.

First impression is 2 office desks as reception area. The room was nice and the bed super comfortable but the windows drafty and not sound proof Overall we expected a higher standard, it comes across as pretty average and having stayed in many hotels in Belfast,we wouldn’t choose to stay here again

Room very dated, dark and extremely warm even after turning the temperature right down. Had to use a fan during the night and it’s December! Glasses provided on bedside table but no water provided? Strange. Breakfast was the best part of the stay, very tasty.

Not what you’d call a welcoming Checkin, cash or card there’s your key !!! The reception area is 2 desks put together with a holy mess all over the place - not very professional. Hotel room lacked bottled water as promised and the bed wasn’t the best.

A Brand That’s Lost It’s Way
Room was dirty with makeup and nail face ish still in bath robes. Despite asking for a quiet room it sounded like the occupants above were running a marathon with floor pounding and boards creaking all night long. Then when trying to shower and check out maintenance man calls at 9:45am - do they not know who is checking out each day?

Welcoming check-in, all staff we met were super friendly and helpful. Our dog also got a lovely greeting. The bed is insanely comfortable. The car park is a short 5 min walk away and the reduced price for parking is appreciated, although still expensive - £16.50 for overnight!

Poor value Malmasion!
Old dark Tired rooms. Heating not working in standard rooms. Was moved to another room, and had to carry with non offering help my clothes which I had unpacked. The 2nd room was dark, poor lighting, poor cheap shower, no moisturiser, No shaving mirror or good light, small bath/shower.
