I prepaid for this room online. The hotel agent who checked me in insisted that it wasn’t paid for and went ahead and charged my credit card for the full amount. He then realized that he made a mistake and canceled the payment. He promised I would get an email confirmation of the cancellation of payment. It has been 5 days now and my credit card has not been credited. Moreover, the room key didn’t work. The made me sit in the lobby for 30 minutes at midnight only to realize that the problem was in the door. They could have given me a different room from the beginning. Overall, this was a terrible experience because of the staff.

Ok hotel in good location.
This is a perfectly good hotel for a reasonable price in a good location in Beirut. 15 minutes to the airport and not far by taxi to downtown. Close to pigeon rock and the corniche. It’s not fancy but the condition and facilities of the room were perfectly adequate for a short stay. The welcome at check in and at the bar was excellent. I think I was overcharged at check out for the mini bar drink I had.

Good hotel, great location.
The hotel is in a great location, less than 5 minutes walk to the seafront promenade overlooking Raouche Rock. We were on the 9th floor and had a limited sea view. However, the windows were very dirty on the outside and limited the view further - they could do with a clean! The room itself was very clean and comfortable and had all the facilities you would expect in a large chain hotel. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the menus had a broad range to suit most tastes. There are a few western chains nearby like Starbucks, KFC, BK as well as fabulous Lebanese cafes and restaurants. Don’t take a taxi from outside the hotel as they are overpriced. Walk down to the promenade and you will get much better deals but do fix the price before you get in the taxi!

The rooms are very outdated and the bathrooms horrible. The toilet wouldn’t turn off and we had to call to get it repaired several times. The shower curtains are gross. It was highly disappointing for a supposed to be 5 star hotel. I would in fact rate this a motel in US standards.

The worst i’ve seen in beirut
1st time to try this hotel but not my 1st time in Beirut . So far it’s the worst i’ve seen there . Location is really good , but there are many hotels within the same budget and higher services in the same exact location . Lady at the reception really rude , she didn’t find my name upon check in where her colleague found it in n a second . Toiletries didn’t get refilled by the housekeeping . Torn towels . Water in the shower don’t sync . Wanted to try the breakfas one day , found it really poor & left . Actually NEVER again .

It’s good hotel
I enjoy in my stay. It’s very good hotel . The staff are helpful. I don’t like my room because it’s in the 4ths floor, it’s very noisy. This is the second time for me in this hotel. The first time I am lucky to get room in 14 floor. I try with the person in reception, but he told me that there is no room available. I think I will back to Ramada plaza again.

Good hotel as you would expect from an international chain, didnt eat there but it is well positioned for the sea front (restaurants/walking etc) and other parts of the City. All hotels in Beirut are over-priced anyway, but this was good value for money at high-season

What a pleasant surprise!
How lovely my overall stay was at this hotel. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels in Beirut, but none compare to my stay here! With respect to comfort, ease of check-in, proximity to everything, value, and facilities such as pool and gym, exceeded my expectations. I now know where to stay whenever I visit Beirut. The two young ladies at the reception were very welcoming, helpful, and fixed up everything seamlessly for me. Looking forward to my next stay at this hotel! Being right opposite to the Rawcheh rocks, I couldn't as for a nicer spot to enjoy my stay. Thanks guys!

A bit disappointing
I guess my expectations were just a bit too high having stayed at other Ramada Plazas elsewhere. Lovely people work there, but everything is just in need of renovation and or renewing. Advertised with a breakfast buffet (don't expect a full English) it's quiet expensive for what it is. Internet speed was awful, but I'm not sure if that is just life there or the hotel itself. The hotel is down by the seaside but it isn't really in a nice vibrant part of town. The hotel is in the Muslim quarter rather than the Christian quarter, so don't expect a packed hotel bar after work.

It was a very nice trip to Lebanon, and we had a very comfort stay at Ramada Plaza Roche. I recommend Ramada Roche hotel because it's close to all important places for tourists like malls, restaurants, coffee shops, HOOKAH!!!

Great place overall, although it does not have straight sea view over the rock, but you can't beat the location. Across from Bay Rock and Starbocks, walking distance to many restaurants and shopping, located in the heart of the Roche.

Good location, good service, a little overpriced.
The Ramada Plaza Beirut Raouche is located in a very good area which is easily accessible to a number of nice places in Beirut. The service is very good and the breakfast buffet is sufficiently varied. The rooms are a little old and could benefit from a facelift. They are however clean. Overall, we had a positive experience at the hotel although it is slightly overpriced.

The hotel location is close to the Rouche which is nice, but everything else isnt so great. The gym had old machines and some werent working, and pool was closed in November but it was averaging 26 degrees C. I wont stay there again, cause for the same price I can find a much better place to stay.
