This hotel is located in a great area to catch the subway, get American coffee and wonderful Chinese bakery food. The hotel staff is pleasant, but generally there is difficulty in communication because they are not fluent in English and we did not speak fluent Chinese. Water is always provided if you request at the desk (otherwise 2 bottles are provided daily in the room - you may have to wait for a half hour if requested in the evening for a bottle of water). If you are traveling from the United States, do not use a power strip as they short out the electricity). The walls of the hotel have adapters already pre-built into the outlets, so just plug in cpap machines, razors or phones were fine by themselves. A taxi can be called for you, but have the address in Chinese already to show front desk and cab driver (make sure taxi has a meter in the vehicle) Always have your address of hotel or card of hotel with you in Chinese. We enjoyed our stay, but we also had friends in China showing us around their city.
