Everything I liked about this hotel except the TV only had radio channels which really annoyed me. The whole day and night I had nothing to watch I was so bored! Also the wifi connection was really bad I had to use up my own internet data. Other than that room was comfy nice and big and spacious. ...
Was woken 01:30 by staff having a cigarette break & shouting about how short staffed hotel was. Smoke came into me room. Had to shout through the window to tell them to be quiet as trying to sleep.
With the title in mind the stay could have been really good! The hotel was clean and the room too, the staff were good and so was the breakfast! Unfortunately there was a big problem! We all roasted! The air con was broken and our room was 29°! Window was open but made bo difference and kust added ...
Excellent hotel, we had a lovely stay. Room and all facilities were perfect. Reception and breakfast staff were fantastic. The food was brilliant, and good value as well. Spa was great but a little strewn with robes and towels as it was the end of the day. The only drawback ....... lots of waiting ...
Evening meal was disappointing. We had upgraded to a superior room but it was rather small compared to other more spacious rooms of the same standard, asked to change rooms but they were all booked out. Hall itself was nice, with pleasant walks around the grounds.
The hotel was great, the staff were great what else can I say apart from I would definitely stay there again! Also the air con was amazing in the mini heat wave we have just had!
Located just a short distance to the north of London, Bedfordshire is among the United Kingdom's favourite holiday destinations. Blessed with acre after acre of untouched and breath-taking countryside, it's a particularly popular choice with those keen to relax and have some down-time. The impressive selection of luxury hotels in Bedfordshire has firmly cemented the county's reputation as a hotspot for elite getaways.
A memorable luxury hotel isn't just about ticking boxes and providing stellar facilities to guests. It's also about establishing an element of class and executing the decoration with taste too. There are plenty of hotels in Bedfordshire getting this exactly right, offering guests the chance to immerse themselves in decadence.
The Luton Hoo Hotel is among the most decadent in Bedfordshire. Set within more than 1,000 acres of picturesque countryside and landscaped gardens, the Luton Hoo is a hotel whose vocabulary definitely does not include the words 'modest' or 'humble'! Guests can also enjoy a full list of facilities, which includes an on-site golf course.
Exquisite food is just par for the course on a luxury break. While the towns of Bedford and Luton offer an impressive selection of excellent restaurants, most holidaymakers like to have the option to eat well within their hotel or guest house.
The Bedford Swan Hotel offers guests the best of both worlds. The hotel is located in the heart of Bedford, right on the River Great Ouse, offering easy access to all the town's restaurants and bars. In the hotel itself, the River Room Restaurant boasts a AA rosette.
Luxury holidays are all about being pampered, and no relaxing break would be complete with a visit to the spa. While there are a number of independent spas dotted around Bedfordshire, some of the county's finest hotels actually house spas of their own.
Champney's Henlow represents the zenith of tranquillity and relaxation. The county escape features a long list of spa facilities, to include a Thalossotherapy pool, whirlpool and a variety of steam rooms, sauna rooms and dedicated treatment rooms. The accommodation is also spectacular, as is the dining.
