Well equipped room. Very comfortable new bed. Really friendly staff and their curries were absolutely excellent and just £ 10. Could not fault it.

Close to airport

Hotel is getting a little dated, the room they gave us already had someone staying in it. The room we finally got was ok.

One night

Posted 02-May-2017
It is what it is. Cheep and a place to flop for a night near the airport .. it's a bit of a walk from the airport and with a 2pm check in was a bit of a pain sitting around to get into a room off a early flight ...

Did what we needed it to do

We stayed at the Ibis because of an early flight the next day. It was ideal due that - we actually had a meal st the Beefeater (5min drive) but I came back to the Ibis for pudding and was lovely - so as a stop off it's very efficient and dosen't pretend to be anything else

Really tiny bed for one person for twin rooms.. which is perfectly fine as we only needed to put a night. Room facilities were basic and that's alright too if you only need a night. Walls are thin. No food around but the hotel bar serves food if you need to eat. Coffee is available in the room. Check in was quick - staff is helpful. I don't see a reason to fault the place for the price they charge.

Chosen because it was near the airport

Posted 08-Apr-2017
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful; they booked a taxi for me and gave me a wake up call. The hotel is situated near the airport.
Cons: I would have like to have a courtesy bus or car to the airport. Although it is only a ten minute walk it was too far for me as I had a lot of luggage.
Location: The hotel is within the airport vicinity. The only reason I was there was because I had an early flight the next morning
I arrived late in the evening for my overnight stay. Met by two members of staff who were waiting for me and made me feel welcome. A member of staff helped me by wheeling my big suitcase to my room on the second floor. Although the room was basic, everything was clean. Appreciated being able to make a cup of tea

Pros: as above
Cons: for a short stay not a lot.
Location: the hotel is geared up for airport travellers so you are not too worried about what to do .we were their to go to a party
the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. the room was basic but comfortable and had a nice walk in shower
