"The Lodge offers simple rooms with comfortable beds and an awesome view of Abbott Lake and nearby mountains. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant was quite good and super convenient. Don’t miss the walk around the lake, which is paved and accessible. It’s a great pre- or post-dinner stroll and we enjoyed it. Excellent stop while taking in the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway! Highly recommend!"

"Our family of 10 adults and 9 kids had a great time at Whispering Pines Estate. The amenities were exceptional and facility immaculate. Our young adults and grandkids thoroughly enjoyed a clean pool, hot tub and the lake. The ample outdoor seating accommodated kids activities during the day and adults relaxation in the evening. "We had a great time at LakeLubbers!! Plenty of room for our party of 8, with fully stocked kitchen, and grill on the patio. The location is very convenient to Bridgewater Marina and shopping / restaurants, the dock was convenient for parking our boat, and the upper dock was a hit with the kiddos!!"
"Our stay was absolutely magical. The house is even more glamorous in person, with stunning design and luxurious touches everywhere you look. Waking up to the serene lake views was the highlight of our trip. The entire home was spotless, and the host was incredibly welcoming. It was the perfect blend of five-star comfort and peaceful nature, complete with duck pin bowling, air hockey, billiards, golf simulator, arcade, pool, pool house, hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards, and massive dock! If you want to rent the nicest house on the lake that is big enough to host a large crew, this is the one!! We can't wait to return!"
