"We felt very comfortable in this sweet little cottage in the woods. It’s only a short distance off Hwy 1, but far enough for no traffic noise. "My Family had a wonderful week staying @ this home on our vacation this summer. It was so easy for check in and check out process. The house was clean and has a wonderful lawn for spreading out and game time. We loved the trail to the lake, and we had Kayaks to use, and the Pond is just breath taking. Very private. "Extremely clean cottage located near a few serene parks and a 40 min drive into the heart of Bar Harbor. Beds were a bit soft for our liking, but that’s just a personal preference. Few suggestions on things we missed: a vacuum or hand vacuum (with the hikes & and surrounding area shoes get dirty quickly) some spices and olive oil for cooking. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend."

"We loved everything about this rental. It is private, immaculately clean, and horses! It was so quiet and relaxing to watch the sunrise with coffee out on the deck and horses grazing in the paddocks. This home is perfectly situated to be close to Bar Harbor, Acadia Park, Schoodic Point (even better) and yet distant from crowds and heavy traffic. Driving past the Wyman Blueberry fields was amazing! The host was so helpful and we were so grateful for the Schoodic Point recommendation!"

Perfect, quiet, hidden retreat
"The cabin was exactly as described. The host was very hospitable, friendly, and helpful with questions about the area and things to do. Firewood was stocked, and later restocked when we ran out. The lake access was perfect. The kayak and canoe onsite was so convenient. The owls literally serenaded us to sleep. We would absolutely come back again!"
