There was plenty of space for the kids in the bunk room and it was nice for them to have another area to hang and watch TV when they wanted. The two master bedrooms upstairs were very comfortable and it was nice that they both had ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen was a great size and very well equipped with cookware, dishes, and even things like plastic wrap and paper towels. Loved having the garage for keeping skis and boots warm and dry. All in all, it was a very positive experience! The only slight con for us was the ski in/ski out access. It's a bit more work to get to the gondola than some of the other units we've had in the past. You have to hike with skis for a stretch and then across 2 roads and up a short (but steep) hill to get to the path to the gondola. Coming home is a bit easier, but you can't actually ski to/from the front door in either direction. We admittedly have been spoiled with the actual ski in/out in our other previous locations, so overall this unit is still very well situated to the gondola, slopes, Happy Valley, and main village. Lastly, this is a townhouse layout with 3 sets of stairs inside and also stairs leading up to the front door. We went to Big White in June for the bike race with two small kids . It was an easy walk to the village . The unit was a good size bedrooms are beautiful .
