Welcome to Rockridge!

Rockridge: enjoy unobstructed panoramic views of the majestic Monashee Mountains from nearly every room in this luxury slope side chalet. Conveniently located in Rock Ridges Estates right on Hummingbird ski run and just 150 metres from Big White Village, the home boasts 4 bedrooms in 2240 square feet. built in the Arts and Crafts style this is truly a beautiful property.

You will be enchanted by the well stocked kitchen, the 200 year old wood floors, the hand pounded iron railings and the sumptuous linens. The estate offers more than enough room for 10 adults to sleep eat and relax in comfort and style. And the location is quite simply impossible to beat.

This 4 bedroom house has exceptional views and direct ski in and ski out access. Located on Rockridge Road, a cul de sac, Rockridge is only a 2-3 minutes walk to the village. A lock up undercover garage for one car with room out the front for 2 additional cars. On the main level is the kitchen, dining room and main living area. Up one level are two bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms. The master ensuite has a steam shower. On the lower level, there are two further bedrooms with a share bathroom. There is also a second living area, ideal for kids getaway as there is a second TV with Sony playstations and loads of games. On this level there is a large drying room with laundry, washing machine and dryer.

Ski Access: ski directly to your back door from Woodcutter run. To get to the run, it is a 20 metre walk either out the back door or from the front door. There is ski storage at both back door and front door.

Summer Access: Fly screens on windows, garage for bike storage, amazing view, balcony upstairs to relax whilst absorbing the views and sipping on a glass of wine. There is also a BBQ for use on the balcony off the dining room.

The house was terrific with four spacious bedrooms and two separate living areas. The views from the hot tub were incredible and watching the sunset whilst relaxing after a hard day of skiing was unbeatable. The ski run is just outside the back door, pop your skis on and off you go! The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen in a rental property and there were plenty of games for the kids! Family of five with 3 teens on recent stay. Really enjoyed the chalet - very comfortable and well appointed and clean. Great views down the valley and easy ski in/out or walk to village. Nice hosts and responsive manger.

Wonderful Space

Had a great week at Big White staying in this space. Beautiful layout, lots of space, and a top notch location providing easy ski in and ski out access to runs as well as being in walking distance to the village. Highly recommend.

Awesome Big White Adventure

After almost 20 stays at Big White, we finally found the one that we would consider buying. This is a great space for a family, amazing views and very easy access to the slopes. The house was stocked with all the necessary items, all we needed to add was fresh food and we snuggled in for a great 9 days.

Best place on the mountain!

This our second time staying at this amazing property. We absolutely loved it. It is in a great location, easy walk to the village, and on the Woodcutter ski run to three chair lifts. The beds a super comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and it is very warm. The views must be some of the best on the mountain. We spent every afternoon in the hot tub soaking up the beautiful mountain views. The drying room is great to dry all your ski gear overnight. I highly recommend staying here.

Don’t wait…BOOK!

This place was spectacular! Proximity to the village, ski in/out, hot tub, space and there was even treats waiting for us! There were 4 adults and 3 teens; we all had more than enough space. Wi-Fi was a little issue when we got there but property manager was quick to help. A true 5 star place!

Perfect location

We loved the property. So close to the ski run. Had all the amenities we needed. Perfect size for 9 of us. My only negative would be that the second master was on the lower floor where our teens hung out. And the second ensuite was attached to the twin room upstairs , very minor details but when you travel with teens, separation is a plus! In general, great property!

Unbeatable Location

Best "ski in ski out" experience I've had to date. Total walk is maybe 50 feet from door to slope and you can ski right to the door. Excellent gear room, good hot tub, excellent views, great value for the money. Place is a BIT smaller than it seems and you share a wall which isn't obvious from the images. Kitchen is well stocked but lacks large pans, measuring cups, and other random things... Everything else is top notch! Host is friendly and helpful.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location

This is a one of a kind vacation stay! A true ski-in, ski-out home at Big White Ski Resort. Everything about the house was perfect and exactly as described. The furnishings are of high quality, very comfortable and what you might find in your own home. Plenty of space for the five adults in our group to relax together or have quite time alone. The custom kitchen was great for all our cooking needs and we prepared all our own meals. The views from both decks were stunning and the hot tub and steam shower were nice to come home to after a long day on the slopes. The owner and her local agent were responsive and answered all our questions quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing views & location

We had an amazing 3 weeks with our 3 young children 17months- 5 years. Due to its size, it was great to have the extra space for the kids on days they didn’t to go to ski school day care. Beds were comfortable, views were spectacular and the house had a lovely cosy feel. A few of our older less mobile babysitters found the walk up to the village a little steeper / tiring than they were comfortable with, but it was fine for us and our kids. We returned our car after a few days because we just didn’t need it. It was super convenient being on woodcutter run (especially with the school valet service ). Allison the property manager was helpful and easy to communicate with.

Fabulous Views

Our group of six enjoyed a 4 night stay at this property. The views were incredible, the location was great and the ski in/ski out access was very easy. The beds & bedding were very comfortable! We've stayed at Big White several times & this was one of our favourite chalets in terms of location & amenities. We did encounter several small maintenance issues during our stay - one of the bed frames needed to be fixed before it could be slept in, the gaming system didn't work, the steam shower was on the fritz about half the time, and the hot water heaters need to be replaced causing iron & other sediment to back up into all the taps. The property manager was quick to respond & did what she could to help fix the situation. Once some of these issues are dealt with, this property will be 5/5!!

Excellent Location

We were able to check in early and the place was very clean and very beautifully decorated. There were a few things, however, that could have made our stay a little better. There was no washroom on the main floor. Only one downstairs and one in each bedroom upstairs which was a bit inconvenient when we were always on the main floor. I would suggest better pots and pans for cooking especially with large families. The tile in the downstairs washroom was not heated which made it very chilly when using that washroom especially at night. Also one of our toilets stopped working while we were there and we had asked if it could be fixed while we were there and didn't get a response back from the property manager after we asked to try to get it fixed. The responses were delayed. Also the stair going into the hot tub was wobbly and slippery so was hard to get in and out of the hot tub. Overall place was very clean, great ski room and well stocked with dishes. We would stay again!
