Displaced by fire!

Displaced by fire. Needed place to stay ASAP. Good place, accommodations, and good staff made for enjoyable stay in a stressful situation!

Short staay

Pros: The room was nice and spacious.
Cons: The overall look of the place.
Location: Good places to eat.
My experience overall was solid, but the carpet throughout the hotel and the overall smell of the place wasn't very pleasing.

We do have kitchens in all of our rooms so it becomes difficult to remove some odors that are not pleasing to everyone. Not very Clean. Felt like a very subpar hotel.

Room was "clean-ish". My room was close to lobby and the front desk girl had friends in talking VERY loudly both nights. Second night, someone was running the vacuum in the lobby at 11:00 pm!!! When I talked to manager the next day she said that her "system" doesn't allow her to refund a night on my credit card because I booked through Expedia. She offered me a voucher for a free nigh. Why would I want to stay there again??

Service was negligible. No staff was at the front desk when we came for check-in, at another time when we needed service, nor when we checked out. Each of these three times, I needed to knock on doors, use phones, or go hunt for the staff in other areas of the hotel.

Try a different hotel for same value

I arrived at the hotel around dinner time, only one person working the front desk even though there was another worker standing around talking. Finally got checked in, went up to the room to find that it hadn't been cleaned. It actually looked like someone was still staying in that room. Went back down to the front desk to find no one available. Waited for about 10 minutes before calling the hotel to find that the only person working was gathering kitchenware for another guest. I told the front desk worker that the room wasn't cleaned, to which she said "they always do this to me." She gave me another room, this time a clean one. The free continental breakfast in the morning consisted of coffee, stale tasting muffins and granola bars, and a few packs of oatmeal. Thankfully restaurants were located close by about the only plus to this hotel. Needless to say, if I had to come to this area again, I would try a different hotel for the same value.

Never Again.

The entire hotel smelled like POT.. including in my room. It got worse when I turned the AC on. Shower had a strange black stain all through it. The front desk staff at check in was rude, and worse at check out. Stay in Beechwood area often, and can certainly cross this hotel off the list. I checked in at 10pm, and left at 8:00 Am. But this was bad enough to give my 1st negative review.

Clean room not so nice staff

Room was nice but staff was not friendly. The cleaning crew also forgot dirty dishes outside my door from the previous guest for about 8hours. I had to tell the front desk and they didn't apologize just said they were short on staff. Probably won't go back.
