"I picked this hotel because it was cost-effective, but also had great reviews, and I cannot figure out where those great reviews came from. The fixtures in the rooms are very old… The shower grates are gross, there was rust on the bathroom door frame, and tiny fruit flies in the room. The furniture looks like the same furniture you find in a state run nursing home facility. If I was staying more than a single night. I would’ve switched hotels."

"Very convenient for Astros games. Historic building. Rooms were very comfortable. Nice fitness room. Our only problem was we did schedule housekeeping one day and they never came. We called about it and they assured us they would be there but they never did."
