We chose this hotel as we have children who love to swim. We thought this would provide a break after touring all the D-day sites and museums. We enjoyed being able to have a drink in the hotel bar and relaxing at the pool.
Stayed 2 nights while touring Normandy beaches and Bayeux. Great location , easy walk to Bayeux and short drive to historic landing sites. Friendly staff, quiet and relaxing grounds, great dinner, and comfortable room. Great choice.

Very simple rooms. Fairly clean and for a reasonable rate. Pretty good restaurant on-site. Very convenient location to the Normandy area and the nice town of Bayeux. You can easily walk into town from the hotel. Plenty of parking. Wi-fi sketchy and slow. But there is no extra charge for it.
This one-storey hotel is located in Bayeux, 25 kilometres from Caen city centre.More
I booked this hotel based on it's cost (inexpensive) and proximity to the train station. It was less than a 10 min walk and easy to locate. The rooms are, as stated in other reviews, very compact. The bathroom is especially small, but we we were going to out exploring and only needed a place to sleep so it worked out well.
The rooms weren't going to be ready until 2pm but the desk isn't staffed between 11am and 5pm and the check in kiosk wasn't clear about that fact. Luckily one of the staff that was cleaning rooms saw us waiting, thankfully spoke English, and moved our reservations to rooms that were already available, so we were able to check in.
Note that the desk is only staffed from 7am-11am and 5pm-10pm - if you lose your key to your room you can get another issued from the kiosk but only if you booked through the hotel directly.
We paid the extra for the breakfast and it was a good value for the money.
It was a short 5-8min walk to a bike rental place, 10 min walk to downtown Bayeux, and next door to another hotel with a sit down restaurant and staff that spoke English. Well worth it if you don't mind small but clean accommodations.
Situated 9 kilometres from the English Channel, Bayeux survived the Battle of Normandy largely intact, retaining the look of a traditional Normandy town. Its most famous attraction is the Bayeux tapestry, a 70-metre embroidered length of cloth depicting the 1066 Norman conquest of England. The tapestry, listed on UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register, is displayed in a museum in the town centre.
