The water slide was exceptional and so were the pools. The area surrounding the pools was constantly covered with trash from other guests. The bottom of the water slide also had a lot of built up algae (green). Brooke at the restaurant was wonderful as well as Yessie who helped us with paddle boats and snow cones.
The lady that checked us in (Valentina) was short and not rude per se but not very energetic or seemingly happy. All the concerierge and bar staff were friendly and very helpful. I was able to find out more about the property and activities/amenities from them than any front desk employee.
last day it stormed and very bad (dust devils) even. My daughter and I were out in the water and starting seeing umbrellas flying. I sent her inside immediately ahead and I was following behind when I got smacked only back by one of the properties blue and white umbrellas. As soon as I reached the end of the sand I saw a gentleman there who appeared to be a manager asked if I could get ice as I just got injured by a beach umbrella. His reply….. “oh you can go ask a bartender”. Not a “are you okay”, “how can I help”……. would have loved to find out his name but I had to go find my child. Probably 30 or 40 year old white man.
My child then had lost her phone and I was told I could go to the front desk by whomever answered it to get it. Got up there and nobody knew where it was. I explained I can see on my iPhone it’s behind this counter. Nobody communicated but th
