An excellent hotel. Staff really helpful and good value for money. Breakfast cooked freshly for each guest that opts to buy it. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great size of rooms with a lovely sea view. Parking is easy and the hotel accommodated an hour later for our check out no problem. Good location close to theatre, shops and beach! Staff friendly. Only thing to be aware of is the noise travels a lot in this hotel. Much like being at home and someone is walking up or down the stairs.

Very lovely hotel always stay here when coming to Eastbourne the only thing I would say is that the bed needs a bigger and thicker cover has it was to thin and it was a cold night

Hard to find the hotel location.service is good though the toilet was stainef"P" prior i check in 🙄😬😔 the rest area of the room clean and comfy bed, good i only stay 1 night.i would say 3***

Cons ...very basic room ripped curtains damaged table shower hot but not much pressure pillows very flat bed lumpy Not fault of hotel but very noisy room next to us which ment all together very little sleep Paid £13 for 2 breakfast at 9am ...only thing that seemed fresh was egg and toast ...bacon looked like it had been there for ages dry and hard and rest was not hold Pros ..nice man on reception ...parking permit ...good location Would not stay again

Owner lovely and friendly and we slept very well. Room was spacious with everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and loved the art work for sale and the common areas.. perfect touches

Lovely building and nicely renovated. Art Work around the house was really nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Everywhere clean and nicely laid out. Good seating areas. Very reasonable charges. Breakfast (extra charge) good. Negatives: Bathroom - I am under 5ft and in my 70's. There was a full high sided bath in there. Electric over shower looked powerful. I would have struggled to get into the bath but didn't even try as there were no grab rails. I couldn't risk having a bath/shower, wouldn't have felt very safe. The bed was at the most only 20inches high. It was an effort getting onto the bed and even more effort getting up. Great for a younger active person but not suitable for an older or less active person.

We wont be looking anywhere else in Eastbourne
This hotel is great. Recently refreshed it was clean and in good order. We had a large room with a sideways sea view and the bathroom was spotless. Wi-Fi was strong with no dropouts. Staff were excellent. The breakfast offered a good choice and it was a bargain. Within 5 minutes you can be on the beach , in a restaurant area near the theatre with an excellent Thai restaurant or in the town centre. Despite plenty of poorly parked cars I never had a problem finding a space and the hotel issued free parking permits. It is sad but most UK seaside resorts now have an evening/night safety problem and it pays to be careful. This hotel is on the right side of the pier and the town centre to avoid those issues.

Would of been more for cleanliness but there was a used sanitary pad in our bin in bathroom that wasn’t ours so obviously bin wasn’t emptied from previous guests

The hotel is light, airy and interesting with so many paintings. The manager and staff are always pleasant. The rooms are always very clean, bed comfortable, shower excellent and breakfast first class. Plus, it is only a very short walk from the theatres for my husband who has mobility difficulties. Would highly recommend.

It's artistic and there is a gallery at the hotel lobby. The room is spacious but the furniture is a bit old. Still,, it's tidy & clean.

Excellent VFM hotel in a good location. All the staff were super friendly and the breakfast is amazing value. Room was also very large with high ceilings. Annoyingly the family upstairs let their kid run riot and was stomping on the floor most of the night but obviously not the fault of the hotel. Just small issues here and there which is why is was 4 stars overall rather than 5. For example no towels in room when we got there, the properties opposite can see you having a shower and a dead flies on the bed when we got into the room. Other than that it was a good stay and would recommend

Excellent hotel
Excellent location and a newly renovated hotel for a reasonable price. Few minutes walk to the beach. Room 106 is surprisingly large and clean and with a very large shower & bathroom.

Nice hotel. Only issue was parking. Unlike advertised it doesnt have its own car park. However they do issue permits. Just have to park on street near by!

Very nice family room which was very clean and well appointed. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk supplied with large mugs and glasses. A fridge in the room was an additional, welcome, extra we weren't expecting. Hand towels and bath towels were provided but would have like bath sheets too. A hanger or hook in the bathroom would have been useful for clean clothes after a shower or bath. The room has recently been upgraded and is extremely comfortable with a large King size bed. Our 7year old was very comfortable on a futon. We asked for some additional pillows and these were waiting for us on our return. We would definitely return next year

Good price rooms clean furniture little dated, great location they give you a parking voucher for your stay but park in correct zone H. We had a breakfast which was very nice and excellently priced for full English

Overall a lovely hotel, ideally situated for town and seafront,our room on first looks was fine and mostly clean , furnishing were to my taste and room was spacious,tea and coffee were on the budget side , generally quite clean although under bed does need attention, warm feeling room and noise levels from outside couldn't hear anything so that's a plus , would I recommend to anyone else yes I would , breakfast was quite good and service ok ,would we stay again yes
