Lovely place to stay - beautiful part of Bath, we walked everywhere with ease,(galleries, shops, cinema, restaurants etc) and they serve a fantastic breakfast. Sweet staff.

Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Perfect location near the historic centre. Great breakfast. Historic nature of the hotel. Amenities and comfort of the room. No faults to find at all.

Love this intimate and quiet spot close to central Bath. Stayed in the single room with a shared bath but had the bath to myself for my stay. The amenities and attention to making this property special are why I look forward to my return!

A budget friendly stay for a solo stay.
Hotel is easy to find. Wasn’t aware of the policy of checking in by 5pm but was called with instructions for using the key lock to gain entry. Hardly saw a staff member but my stay was fine, room was clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom was just down a few steps in the landing. Shower cubicle was very small though!

Absolutely lovely!
Absolutely loved staying here, even though it was just for one evening. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating, and replied quickly to emails with any questions or concerns. Our room was adorable and so comfortable! Loved the waffle knit bathrobes and slippers for our comfort, free of charge! The little homemade shortbreads were a special touch and very yummy! Our room was quiet and overlooked the courtyard gardens.

I really liked the garden, it was peaceful but also well looked after with an interesting selection of plants. I enjoyed sitting outside and reading. The staff were very helpful and caring.

This is a lovely property located in a townhouse just across the Avon from the center of the city. Very nice furnishings (including bedding) and excellent breakfast selections. The “small double” room was exceptionally small, and the small washbasin was in the room, rather than in the en suite w.c. (perhaps in keeping with Bath’s heyday?). The room was manageable for a couple of nights.

Very welcoming
Well decorated and spotlessly clean. Very good breakfast. Parking was 5 mins away and cost £15 for 24 hours. Hotel was well situated for seeing the main attractions.

Amazing host Johnny
Johnny the host was superb. We got there at noon and our room on the top floor would not be ready for another two hours. When he helped us with the heavy suitcase he inquired if the room downstairs might be ready by any chance so we were able to settle in right away. Very friendly guy. Outstanding breakfast.

The facility is spotless the staff is fantastic, cordial, welcoming, smiling, helpful as helpful can be. It’s a beautiful place to stay, very convenient. Breakfast is wonderful served by the wonderful staff. Highly recommend.

The hotel is well located on a quiet residential street near to downtown. The hotel team was great, getting us reservations for dinner and recommending places to go. Very nice!

Wonderful hotel
We had an incredible stay at this lovely inn! The room was tastefully decorated with a very confortable bed and walking distance to all the attractions. The breakfast was made to order and outstanding! It really set the bar high for the remainder of our trip. Would highly recommend this hotel
