"It was such a treat to stay here. The staff were delightful. It was wonderful to learn that Bluestocking Elizabeth Montagu used to live at No 16. What an impressive history the house has."
"It was a beautiful renovated building; our rooms (family) were lovely, spacious and well-equipped, and the bathroom was excellent! Overall, the town of Bath was wonderful, full of history and beauty. We did tons of shopping and a walking tour (highly recommended), and the restaurant across the way (Crystal Palace) was most excellent!"

Apex City of Bath Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our stay and found the hotel to be friendly and efficient. Our balcony room was a real bonus especially as we were staying 3 nights. The central location makes it an ideal choice for a visit to Bath.
Breakfast was excellent."
"Perfect for short stays and conveniently located for walks into the city centre as well as to drive out into the countryside. Parking charges at £17.50 / 24 hours is steep for families and will force to cut down on eating out or shopping opportunities. All in all it’s an excellent hotel with friendly and smiling staff. Thank you for providing us with a memorable experience."
"Lovely 2 night stay at this hotel. All staff helpful and friendly. Room comfortable with no issues at all. Lovely shower. Breakfast was much better than I expected as it was free with booking. Pancake machines were amazing! Would definitely stay again if I came to Bath again. So well located with easy walk right to centre of city. "
"The Abbey Hotel is conveniently located in Bath, just at the start of the pedestrian area of the city, a few steps from the Roman Baths and Abbey.
Our room was comfortable, and we enjoyed the generous breakfast at a very reasonable price."
