Pretty clean with air con, no internet, couldn’t cook on bbq because wasn’t working. Has got all pans and pots in the kitchen but we have to buy everything from salt and oil etc. When you come from another state it’s inconvenient.

Good location to Litchfield NP and in a quiet location. We enjoyed a game of free mini golf and watched the birds feeding while we were there.

A simple cabin with toilet and shower. All you need in a campsite cabin - clean, comfortable and good value.

Are you sure you have the right place. We are set well back from a secondary road and most people comment on how quiet it is.

Cabin One in Batchelor Holiday park is nothing better than a rundown hovel & should be gutted. I expected a ‘basic’ cabin for the price, but this felt dirty, dilapidated & very unwelcoming. A repurposed shipping container, it appears to have been furnished from an op shop, with water damaged ceiling, dodgy looking electrics, dated wood effect panelling (coming off) & an ‘en suite’ (if you can call it that!). Fridge & microwave both seen better days & couldn’t even provide matching/full complement of crockery/cutlery. Owners should be embarassed charging people to stay in it. Very disappointed. Would not recommend!!!

We have only recently taken over Batchelor Holiday Park and I was not aware of the severity of cabin 1 condition. It has been isolated, all bookings upgraded to a new ensuite cabin at no increase in tariff. Cabin 1 will be fully renovated prior to reletting. Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention. If Kathryn would like to contact us we will provide her with the opening night free.

Yes our ablution blocks are dated but they are serviced and clean. The villas are only a couple of years old and half our cabins less than 12 months. We are peddling furiously.

A perfect base for exploring Litchfield National P
The cabin was old, but maintained well. The staff were friendly and very accommodating for our late checkout request. It was very helpful. It is a perfect base for exploring Litchfield National Park.

Hated our stay here was well below standard for a cabin it was a bad experience the bed was small and on rollers on hard floor the cabin was an old workmans donger with a dirty fridge a sink outside which looked like a fish cleaning station no lighting on way to toilet and shower block 1toilet was fikthy for a whole day 1 didnt work so 1maletoilet the outside of cabin had junk everywhere including old yabbie cages and old dry undergrowth that was a haven for mice and snakes and a fire hazard there was a shade outsidecabin made of heavy vinyl so hot to sit under and was covered in old dead leaves...very disappointing stay

A nice small cabin suitable for our family of 4. Bit old but fine for us. Seems quite expensive for quality yet there are few choices in this small town. A great location to explore Litchfield. Excellent onsite manager and superb bird feeding in the afternoon.

Great position close to Litchfield National Park for the waterfalls and termite mounds. Jim is an excellent host and goes the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Small touches like chilled water in the fridge and air on on before we arrived, we’re much appreciated. Cabins are well equipped including with dustpan and brush, which you’ll need to get rid of the dust you’ll bring in each day! Very clean, pool well kept, and the availability of washing lines (bring your own pegs) was very useful. Drinking water straight from the tap was good.

I believe everything needs an upgrade to make it more welcoming, appealing and clean. The couches definately needs to be replace, we couldn't sit in it cause it was very dirty. Wouldn't stay there again.

Had our own little cabin but it was very tired and a bit dirty. Comfy bed though and we slept well as well as an excellent shower. The bird show was incredible and it was walking distance to the pub and very close to the national park which was amazing. It was also well priced.

The cabin 's location looked like in the middle of a builder's yard. View from window was an old rusty shed and building materials. No mirror in the cabin.

We regret the choice of this property. I did not realize that it was a camping-trailer park where the cabin was situated. The cabin had air conditioning and it was quite clean. The look of it was run down and small. Bathroom facilities were shared as in other camping grounds.

Very good value accommodation.
We stayed here two nights in a small cabin. This is close to the general stores and petrol stations. The owner Jim is very friendly and helpful. Although quite small in size and not very clean (the sofa required a good clean), the cabin has almost everything we need (eg. hot shower, cooking facilities, TV etc) and the price is very reasonable. It has bird feed show in every morning and evening. Highly recommended unless you are not looking for 5 star luxury.

We had the smaller studio cabin. Simple, clean cabin, kitchenette was decently stocked for simple cooking. Bed was good. Good budget option.

The daily bird feeding was a highlight of the stay. The lorikeets were so colourful and noisy and lots of galahs and other birds come for a meal. It is a nice quiet location within easy reach of Litchfield National Park. The accommodation was basic and clean and had what we needed

Good nights sleep in a “shipping container “
The cabin was a little small, fine for 1 person but would have been cramped for the double plus single bunk arrangement. There was no storage. I got a very good nights sleep and the AC was effective however on approaching the “cabin “ I was a little surprised by its appearance which seemed to me to be an adapted shipping container. The accessible bath room turned out to be accessible for those prepared to walk to the shower/toilet block. Well illuminated in the dark. The bird feeding, at dawn and sunset was a nice touch.
