Highly recommend. Great location, very clean
Location was great. Right near the river. 20min walk to train station. Staff was really nice. Hostel was very clean. The rooms were big enough and very clean as well. Breakfast was very good. Only annoying thing is that you have to pay for a towel. But overall one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in.

A nice stay
A nice stay at a clean, quiet, affordable hostel in the city center. Close to the tourist attractions. A nice breakfast too.

Modern hostel in quiet part of town
Stayed here for one night in September in a private en suite room. The hostel is modern, clean and comfortable. It's located in a quiet part of Basel 10-15 mins walk from both the old town and Kleinbasel. No complaints!

Add some more lighting but otherwise great!!
Awesome location!!! Friendly helpful staff! Bunk bed alittle hard to get down from for older people. Only complaint would be room needed alittle more lighting

Very clean, good free breakfast.
I stayed one night at the hostel and very much enjoyed it. The staff were welcoming and helpful, everything was clean and new. The location is good for a walk into the old town and quite easy to find. I paid for the hostel dinner which was really good, and a free breakfast is always a good thing! I would recommend this hostel.

Exceptional Value in an Expensive City
I use hostels quite regularly for football related travel to keep costs down. This hostel excelled. Excellent facilities, clean and modern, great breakfast included, ten minute walk to main centre. Certainly not the cheapest around Europe but exceptional value compared to local hotels.

Renovated secluded hostel in central Basel
This hostel is included on the architectural guide to the city because of the recent renovations. It is a great building with a great location near the Rhine and a very short walk to the center of the city. Although it is called Youth Hostel, guests ranged from young families to huge teenage tour groups. The only thing I would list as a downside was that the free internet was only available in the lobby (I imagine because the concrete walls make it difficult to provide good connection throughout the large building).

Was really cold in the room. No heating, perhaps floor heating, but that's not enough. Also the concrete benches in the breakfast area were cold to sit on. Breakfast was fine though. Nice staff as well.

Helt ok för pengarna
Bra läge och fint med en lite flod precis utanför hotellet. Man kände verkligen av naturen när man öppnade fönster. Sen var det nån citytaxa man fick betala, och handduken kostade extra. Ingen tvål eller schampoo i duscharna. Frukost var ok , men saknade ägg. Sedan var man tvungen att ha en mynt för att köpa kaffe eller för att låsa sina saker på rummet, lite gammaldags.

住宿地點離市區遠了一點，到Hostel之前會有坡度，推行李比較不方便。借吹風機要押金，會退還。入住要外加4克朗城市稅，另外會給Basel card(free)，

This is a great place to live. The staff are nice and the breakfast is great. However, it is not near the centre of the town that you may need to take a tram or bus to there. The direction to the hostel is not that clear. You may not want to go to the hostel through the church as the gate may close at night. Always go to the hostel from the St. Alban-Kirchrain.

Sehr schönes modernes Youth hostel, ideal gelegen, so stadtnah. Freundliches Personal, hatten Zeit für alle Fragen( Zwischensaison und unter der Woche) Zimmer jetzt im Dez. zu stark geheizt, musste die ganze Nacht das Fenster geöffnet lassen. (Ökologischer Unsinn)
