Overall clean, and it was nice to have an extra blanket. Otherwise, one of the most no-frills places I've stayed. TV didn't work (unless you like static), there were a couple paper cups, but no ice bucket. Bed was fine.

Good value. Comfortable room. Staff friendly and efficient. Only downside was the airport shuttle taxi service - we hadn’t realised that the free shuttle service was only one way (either from the airport to the hotel OR from the hotel to the airport) and so were taken by surprise when we were asked to pay for the return trip back to the airport. Still, the cost charged by the hotel seemed much less than if we had paid the taxi ourselves. We (and other guests) expected to get a Basel Card for free bus rides and reduced cost entrance to attractions but, as the hotel is in Saint-Louis, not Basel, that didn’t work.

Comfy little room with convenient shuttle service
Needed a room for one night close to the airport to catch an early flight and this hotel was perfect. Small room, small bathroom, but perfect for catching some Z's before a flight. Free early morning shuttle to airport was on time and friendly too!

The check in was great, very fast and professional. Negatives: No food available in the evening. Only nearby restaurants. Lots of noise from guests passing the door to my room. Breakfast service is poorly managed. Lots of people chatting but not actually working. Coffee machine ran out of milk. Cups do not fit so many failures to dispense. Bacon ran out, it took 45 minutes to refill,

The hotel was clean and room was comfortable for a one night stay. Trouble with getting the shuttle to pick us up at the airport. Need more detailed direction of pickup location since the airport has a Swiss side and a French side.

Ended up here as my flight was cancelled. The young lady on the front desk (25/8 7pm) was fluent in English, courteous and quick to complete check in. There was a free taxi to the airport at 4am, and though basic the room was clean and comfortable. The place opposite produced chicken escalopes, salad and rice, and a large beer, fot 11 euros. If you end up stuck overnight waiting for a flight head here.

Close to airport. Easy to get to Basel Switzerland. Inexpensive. Clean. Staff are ok. Maybe a language barrier. Food is ok... but the best is that it is avaliable from 630 am to 12. So you can eat anytime in the morning!

We stayed for 1 night before flying home. Biggest annoyance was the poor aircon in the room. Even with it on its highest setting it just fanned the warm air around whilst being very noisy. The lift was also broken but they did have someone to carry out suitcase to the room.

Tiny room. Very basic. Shower and toilet pod horrible. Cramped. Zero facilities. No tea or coffee in the room. Awful breakfast - just the basic minimum. Room price expensive for how cheap the room felt. Reception staff wearing jeans - did not look at all professional. Overall - disliked everything and definitely would not stay here again. Would absolutely not go to any ibis hotel again either
