Overnight stop - Christmas Eve
This hotel and its rooms are average...good enough but nothing special, a bit older and tired.
The entire hotel was awakened at 1:35 a.m. by a persistent fire alarm. We all gathered in the lobby while three firetruck personnel determined that there was a malfunction in the circuit board causing the alarm. The next morning, I learned that the same thing had happened the night before as well. I find once to be tolerable but twice is inexcusable. Some sort of good will gesture by Hampton should have been offered to the badly disturbed guests.
I will look for an alternate property next year.
