Holiday home in Barnstaple with fireplace
A superb spot with lots to see and do nearby. Ideal for couples and small families having the use of a lawn garden and after a day exploring it s great for children to let off steam on the shared play equipment. There are lots to see and do nearby; plenty of pretty walks the disused railway line called The Tarka Trail where you can hire bikes and trikes for all ages rest a while and enjoy a drink or bite to eat at one of the many pubs along the trail. Other activities include paintballing within walking distance and golf which is nearby. Family theme parks such as The Milky Way and The Big sheep are always popular. On entering the front door you are greeted by an impressive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with wooden flooring a warm and welcoming wood burner where a basket of logs is provided. Get comfortable on the leather sofa and watch the TV or catch a movie on the DVD player alternatively listen to your own choice of music on the music system. For those who enjoy cooking the kitchen is very well-equipped with electric oven and hob microwave dishwasher fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The large bedroom is at one end of the property with a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) an additional single divan bed can be placed in the same room on request there is a TV/DVD and plenty of storage. The bathroom has a spa bath with separate shower and WC. 4 dogs welcome. Heading outside from the lounge there are 6 steps down to access your own garden area with garden furniture summerhouse BBQ and play equipment of a swing and trampoline. There is an alternative route without steps if required. At the front of the property is a bench where you can sit and enjoy the morning sun. There is ample off-road parking for two cars with a 32A Type 2 electric vehicle charge point.
