"A charming place with a nice restaurant, which was unfortunately only open on weekends. Coffee, too, was only available on 2 of the 5 days I stayed there and Index itself has little or no other amenities. I would suggest they put small coffee stations in the rooms!"

"Fantastic location and privacy. It was probably really lovely about 15 years ago but could use some love, updates and elbow grease. Sadly, the hot tub never got above 91 degrees and without cell service or internet from the property, there was no easy way to remedy its issues.We left feeling relaxed and refreshed; it felt wonderfully remote for its proximity to town. The “commute” to the Lake Serene trailhead was ideal, so was soaking our tired hot feet in the river after the hike. A great place to get away."

"I surprised my girlfriend for her birthday with a weekend getaway to Index / Gold Bar and this cabin was the PERFECT place to stay. We loved how intimate it was, its proximity to the beautiful water, and how nice/clean/stocked the cabin was! The fact that this cabin has both WiFi (and a TV!) and a hot tub are very nice perks, as well.Tree Line was phenomenal in terms of communication -- very responsive, friendly, and helpful. I've already shared this listing with a few friends, prompting them to take a trip themselves.Thank you so much for a great weekend!"
