Beautiful lobby area. Rooms are a bit older but can tell some upgrades were done. Staff speak English and Spanish. Breakfast was a bit expensive- 40.00 for 2 and not a lot of options. Overall would recommend for a place to sleep in Barcelona.

Really nice hotel! We stayed with our two kids and it was very spacious for the 4 of us. They stayed in a separate area of the room and everyone had space. Very clean and convenient room. Great staff and service! Highly recommend.

The breakfasts were excellent with a huge selection available. Really good experience and would highly recommend this hotel. The location is perfect for getting anywhere.

Great location next to Rambla, has great dining options near by. Hotel has parking, which was great. They also have a roof top deck with a pool, chairs and sauna. Staff were friendly and gave us recommendations for shows and restaurants.

It was situated in an area where you could walk to a lot of areas where many shops were. Not too far from Placa de catalunya and many restaurants.

Firstly, I would like to congratulate the staff on an excellent customer service experience. We had some issues not related to the hotel and they were amazing. Everyone from the front desk reception and the nice people who helped with our bags. The reception was clean and the room was not too bad but the condition was not great for the price. The bathroom door was so warped that it did not close at all and the flusher on the toilet did not work well at all. The stench from the toilet was unbearable but I think this is common throughout Barcelona. The layout of our family room was actually good and without the bathroom door and unbearable stench the hotel would have scored higher. A big thank you to all the hotel staff once again.

Expensive hotel. Average experience.
Stayed for 3 nights. Will start with the positive - singluar - convenient location. Three nights for a triple room was over €1000. "free parking" was included. Room was on the first floor. It was noisy, you could hear people in the next room going to the loo. There was an endless grinding noise outside. As we were at the back of the hotel there was no view or any natural light. So the room was dark all the time. Bathroom facilities were limited. Two in one Shower gel/shampoo gel was all there was. Beds were rock hard as were the pillows. Staff generally aloof and disinterested to the point of being rude. Fire alarm went off at 4am, false alarm, whole hotel went to reception where there were no staff to advise what was going on or what we should do. Finally the alarm was turned off and a blurry eyed member of staff glumly apologised. When I approached the reception staff to ask for some kind of gesture towards the inconvenience they wanted to brush me off. I insisted that we were given free breakfast which was begrudgingly given. Been to Barcelona before and will admit it was better. The city stinks, it's overly crowded and messy now. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Poor service and experience and way to expensive for what we received. Stayed at many hotels throughout Europe. Deeply disappointed. 3/5 at best.

Good: - nice and helpful front desk - comfy lobby - super convenience location Bad: - shower drain is slow and water build up to like above ankle (we booked 3 rooms and it happens to 2 of them) - cheap bedframe that will make noise when you sit on it - the toilet door cant be closed fully in one of the rooms we booked

Disliked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities
Booked this property for the location which was cool. There was a construction going inside the property and outside. Constant noise was troubling even at night. They gave us a smoking room and there was no similar room to switch
