A little variation on breakfast food would be nice. It got pretty repetitive. On 2 occasions, we were too early for breakfast and they provide "picnic" bags of food. Some English speaking TV channels would be nice.

Good location, room size was good but electrical sockets were not so conveniently placed as you had to bend down under tables & shelves to reach them & being older it was a bit tricky. Having a small fridge in the room was good for us. All hotel staff were polite & helpful. The breakfast buffy was sufficient.

Great location
Great location - close to Arc de Triomf metro station. Walking distance to most sights. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent with hot and cold options and fruit.

Based on other reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was a relief when I saw the hotel was very clean and modern looking. Staff was nice and the room was great. Breakfast was well worth the cost. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Not worth for the money
Room was awkward and small. Dark, not enough space or lighting. Compared to price we paid, very little value. Housekeeping is poor. They forgot to refill soap, coffe, etc. supplies. Bathtub gets plugged, glass door on tub moves so bathrooms get wet while shower, No iron. Front desk was not helpful with giving any kind of guidance or answer questions. Location is good. But there are many other choices of hotels in neighborhoods to select from. I will not be staying here again.

Not only were me an my family allowed to check into our rooms early, but we were told it would be long after normal check in time that we could get into our rooms. Then the staff told us one more minute, one more minute, then just go walk around and we’ll let you know when they are ready….they didn’t get my phone number or email, so we had to ask for a time frame to check back. Also, the hotel was empty and the rooms should have been clean for days prior. Also, zero concierge helpfulness or attempt to make us feel welcome. Other than that, the air conditioning was pretty good.

Loved this hotel! The location & rooms were great, the staff were so nice and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was extensive and so good. We changed our reservations to the Hotel Ilunion Auditorium based upon the good reviews, price, refund policy, and free breakfast buffet (which was wonderful) and were very happy that we stayed there. We would go back there in a heartbeat. We would advise requesting a room facing the street (they are quiet) inside of an inside room which doesn’t have any view.

High quality room, delicious, varied, and healthy breakfast, excellent location! Only drawback is that the shower is quite open (no door) so even if you're really careful the water goes everywhere, but that's nitpicking. Pool on the top floor was great too 😎

Definitely recommend
Great stay, very clean and very helpful staff. Can also keep luggage there for the rest of the day after checking out at noon which is very helpful. Clean room, very well looked after. Great location.

Meh experience, dirty, smelly and noisy.
The hotel looked good on the pictures however it was rather bad. The beds were rock hard, the room was dirty in multiple spots, the room had a single window in to a small courtyard with minimal sun, no soundproofing at all so could easily hear neighbors, the hotel seem to attract alot of iffy people where some of those were smoking WEED in the rooms and outside the windows and others were very very loud every night. The location of the hotel is rather good, its at the edge of china town but very close to transportation and shops and food, you can walk for 15 minutes and then you are in the centre of the city !

We arrived at 3:45pm, when checkin was 2pm onwards and told they had no clean rooms and to wait 15mins. After a long 27 hour journey from Australia, this was disappointing. Overall, the room was nice enough and good for a 3 night stay. Fairly central and close to good areas.

The property is extremely clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is in a great location, close to the metro and tourist sites, however the surrounding neighborhood is a little dingy. I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily unsafe though. I would stay there again. My only complaint is that I wasn’t told that it included breakfast and only found out the day before I was leaving.

We stayed in Illunion Auditori for 3 nights in the end of June. Very easy hotel to find and a quick walk from multiple transport stations. Check in was very quick and staff were friendly. The room was clean if not a little dated. The bathroom had a strange layout which made using the shower and the toilet awkward, but I believe that was down to our specific room layout. A/C and Fridge worked great. Very quiet hotel all night, and situated in a quiet area of Barcelona, around a 20 minute walk in any direction to major tourist attractions. The one grrr moment we had was on our first morning we had a large load of clothes to wash, and our booking information claimed they had Laundry on site, so this was a major reason for us booking this hotel. We found that instead of a Laundry Room they had a Laundry SERVICE. An incredibly overpriced glorified Dry Cleaning (around 10€ or more per piece of clothing). We opted to find a VERY nice business nearby called La Bar. Would highly recommend them if you find yourself in our situation. Otherwise we enjoyed the hotel and would return! 4/5.

My only issues happen to be that we asked for a twin and did not receive this. As a mother daughter traveling and sharing a bed it was not ideal. Secondly we ordered breakfast to be added and they never had us on their list. The lady we had to check in with for breakfast was usually rude telling us it wasn’t included and making the process embarrassing. The lady on the last day didn’t find us as well but opened the computer on the side and saw it was included and let us in. If it was that easy why didn’t the other lady do the same.

Helpful and polite staff. Good selection of food at buffet breakfast. Unfortunately under facilities “restaurant” is listed, after a long journey we were looking forward to a meal. The restaurant is only for breakfast, no other food/meals are available, so disappointed on that.
