Everything was great until our taxi booking to the airport was missed. We had to get our own cab. Concierge was excellent when we arrived and helpful.

There is no coffee facilities in room, but you can take a coffee, tea, or whatever you prefer in our bar or even order it to our room service.Regarding ironing, we do not have irons for security reasons but we do have a laundry service available. Hotel Princess Barcelona is clearly undergoing renovation, whilst this will be appreciative in the long term, for now it wasn’t great being woken up at 8am to the sound of drilling! The room was decent, it had quite a comfy bed, but it’s clear it still needs some TLC as the price you’d pay you’d expect it to be a tad nicer (it will probably be renovated soon to be fair to them). The pools were nice, we really enjoyed the breakfast, the bars also looked nice and the location was great! Overall, we had a decent stay in this hotel, and think it will be really lovely once they have completed all their renovations :)

Would give it a 5/10 Expensive but is not worth the price. Toilet was very ugly even with us paying for superior room with balcony. Expected a more fancy toilet. Staff service is so poor. Kept ringing the reception and no one picked. Only good thing is the location was close to most of our activities but I would definitely not recommend. Not worth it.

The property is clearly undergoing remodelling work, but this in no way interferes with my visit. Noisy works only commenced after 9am. This was very considerate. Shame the top pool was not useable, but the sauna on floor 1 was very welcome. Maybe some lockers for people to stow their stuff whilst they are in the pool or sauna might be useful?

We stayed on the 14 th floor and it was amazing, we had an incredible balcony and impeccable view of the water. The restaurant on the 3 rd floor had great food and the staff were nice, attentive. Mattaeo was our waiter, spoke English and went above and beyond for us. Parking was a bit tough and hard to find besides that our stay was very enjoyable.

This is not up to 4* standards
One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the rooftop infinity pool as widely advertised on the hotel's website. It is CLOSED due to a failed heater and has been for a considerable time. When questioned about why this was not mentioned on the website, we were told there is a disclaimer saying 'not all services are available'. If this hotel was in the UK, I would report them to TRADING STANDARDS. If you want a HOT breakfast, forget it. The scrambled egg, sausages, bacon, baked beans, potatoes etc were never more than LUKEWARM. We would have had a better breakfast across the road at half the price. The shower and bath taps worked but both had chrome covers that had detached from the rear of the unit. No rain shower in our room, just a very ordinary shower head. A lot of the walls were left as concrete with pitted holes in them. Whether this was supposed to be artistic or not, I have no idea but personally I would suggest they get a plasterer in....

Reception was not helpful during check in, I book a room sea view, but they give a room not sea view and when I complain they inform me in the system it is sea view, we cannot do anything, the hotel is far from the Fira and the road to the hotel always traffic. Nice hotel in Barcelona, near the beaches
Nice place, some reconstruction going on, but overall a good stay, friendly staff, very good breakfast.
