Luxury hotel very close to THE center of Barcelona

Posted 24-Aug-2016
Pros: Location, clean, water in the lobby(!), rooms
We ordered 2 rooms but only 1 was available on time (by 2:30pm the second room wasn't ready) so we received it only when we returned to the hotel late in the evening. Other than that, the hotel is AWESOME. Rooms are very clean and nice, the location is ... well ... perfect. The staff was good and polite. We didn't eat in the hotel and spent only a few seconds in the terrace (all sun-beds were occupied) but didn't really plan to be there for more than 20 mins. I recommend the hotel.

Tolles Hotel in einer tollen Stadt

sehr schönes Hotel, sehr freundliches (junges) Personal, rooftop bar / Pool der oberknaller. Lohnt jeden Cent, kommen gern wieder. Barcelona trotz Hochsaisonfülle absolut klasse, ausdrückliche Empfehlung.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Barcelona

Posted 26-Jul-2016
Pros: Perfect location for exploring the old town of Barcelona, marvellous roof top patio.
Location: Heart of old town of Barcelona, right by the Gothic quarter, plenty of places to eat. Only 10 minutes walk to the harbour.
From the moment we entered the hotel until we left the staff were so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them. Good choice of breakfast buffet and ideal location, not too noisy at night.

Highly recommend - wonderful hotel

Posted 26-Jul-2016
First of all, the staff were incredible. Best service I've had in a hotel - or anywhere. They were all charming and bent over backwards to be helpful and ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The cleaners were really friendly and did a great job. There was a nightly turn down service which was a nice touch. And they'd often end up doing a bit of a tidy at that time as well. The rooftop pool and sky bar are incredible. The staff, as ever, were attentive, friendly and made the experience that much better. Be warned, though, it's hard to get a sun lounger. Go up early. It's a popular spot. The bed was comfortable. The room was nice - very minimal and tastefully decorated. Black out blinds were a dream. There is a library at the front of the hotel which was perfect for working in. Very quiet and comfortable - there is also a quiet little area with computers for use by guests. The gym is small but has what you need and is clean and comfortable. Fresh fruit, water and clean towels. You will not regret a stay in this hotel. The location is great and our stay was fantastic. We travel to Barcelona regularly and have stayed in a lot of the nicer hotels. But we'll never stay anywhere else now.

Really nice hotel

Posted 26-Jul-2016
Pros: Space of room, location and decor/ambience
Location: Right by the main strip, less than five minutes amble from the beach and waterside restaurants, right in the centre of things.
Lovely clean rooms, fresh, bathroom was amazing, lots of space even in the most basic room, up to date amenities (eg electric blackout blinds) really great location, in the hub of things without being too noisy or overwhelming. The choices of places to sit upstairs by the pool, in the rooftop bar, or the lovely bar downstairs was great.

Coolt hotell med strålande läge

Posted 25-Jul-2016
Mitt i gamla stan med promenadavstånd till Barceloneta, Picassomuseet, El Born och Placa de Catalunya. Gammalt snyggt hus med moderna detaljer invändigt. Liten men cool pool på taket. Väldigt trevlig personal, proffsigt men avslappnat. Härliga rum.

Great Location near to metro and other attractions

Posted 17-Jul-2016
Pros: Nice, Clean, Great Staff, excellent rooftop pool
Cons: I cannot think of anything major..
Location: Jaume I Station is less than 300 meters away. Barcelona Cathedral is also very close. the whole area around the hotel is a great walking site.
I stayed for 6 nights, the hotel is very very conveniently located between 2 walking distance Metro stations and almost all major tourist attraction areas are very close. Their staff were very helpful and polite, they managed all my requests with a smile and a thank you afterward. The room is extremely good (I stayed in a Junior Suit), the bathroom is very clean and nice.

Great Hotel, in the centre of town.

Posted 05-Jul-2016
Pros: really comfortable, in the centre of town but in the hotel you could not hear the noise of the city
Cons: A wider bar and roof top menu would have been good
Location: As the sights we wanted to see such as the Picasso museum were near by it was ideally situated.
The hotel staff were attentive without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. Would we stay again, if we come back to Barcelona then the answer would be a definite yes! but we have many other city's we which to visit and sights and sounds to see and hear.

Great positions and amazing roof terrace

Posted 03-Jul-2016
The hotel was amazing, the staff were really friendly and it was in a perfect location. The roof terrace had an amazing view and was great to sunbathe in the day or have a drink at night.
