Not what you expect from a 5 star hotel

when I entered the lobby I was amazed by the fancy lobby they have spacious cool looking one. Then I came to the check in desk the system was down they took my info manually . The were a little bit disappointing its not what you expect from Fairmont the furniture is old and not that impressive. The staff overall were very friendly and welcoming I had a chance to meet there Duty manager in the hotel he was very cooperative.the breakfast is good but also not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. Finally I had a visit to there GYM one of the best fitness club I have ever visited in a hotel they had everything in it.personally I might not come here again I can find a better 5 star hotel with the same price.

Everything about this hotel is top notch. Food can be better but hey, you dont eat at a hotel like you don't sleep at a restaurant...

Cons: Niet teveel formulieren voor beoordelingen sturen want ik kreeg er direct al een toen ik uitgechekt, heb ik ingevuld en daarna iedere dag weer een. Ee
Fijn dat het niet miden in het centrum ligt maar wel goed bereikbaar is.

Location: 周辺には公園や大学が多く、道幅もひろく、文教地区で治安もいいようです。
部屋の広さは十分、水回りも清潔で水の出も良く、ハード面は良好。 周辺案内のために、コンシエルジュに相談したら、英語で親切に教えてくれました。従業員の方々もみんな気さくで良い印象でした。 一度、現地の家族とレストランで食事しましたが、味、量ともに値段に見合ったものでまた利用したいと思います。

広い庭園のあるホテル

Pros: 設備の充実度と地下鉄駅へのアクセスの良さ
Cons: 特になし
Location: 旧市街などの中心部、観光名所からはやや離れているが、地下鉄の駅は徒歩5分程度で乗り換えなしで中心部にアクセス可能。周辺にはサッカースタジアムがあるようである。
ロビーなど共有施設は充実、広々していて、開口部もひろく明るい印象。客室も1人利用には十分すぎる広さ、水回りの使い勝手、水の出、排水も良好で、日本でイメージする高級ホテルと変わりなく、快適な滞在ができた。

Location: Centre ville Barcelone, ramblas, quartier gothique...
Séjour entre amis le temps d'un week-end. Bon confort, hotel néanmoins en réhabilitation sur les étages supérieurs. Service digne d'un cinq étoiles.

Le Fairmont a engagé depuis plusieurs mois une rénovation des chambres. Nous n'avons pas eu de chance, il nous a été attribué une chambre non rénové. Pas à la hauteur d'un 5 étoiles. Tout juste d'un 2* et encore. Nous aurions aimé le savoir au moment de notre réservation. Séjour gâché à cause de la chambre. Le service n'a pas non plus été à la hauteur d'un 5 étoiles. Exemple : Sucre non réapprovisionné pour le service à thé disponible en chambre. Nous l'avons réclamé le soir en sortant manger. Le lendemain matin nous nous sommes rendu compte que rien n'avait été fait. La climatisation était défaillante. Plus de 26° dans la chambre sans rien pouvoir modifier. Même les fenêtres ouvertes dans une Barcelone à 17° n'y a rien fait. Séjour gâché. Les chambres rénovées auraient sans doute donner toute satisfaction. Attention donc à ce détail lors de votre réservation.

Newly renovated, but no sound insulation

Awful problems with noise and, sadly, the front line staff was not empowered to fix the problem. The hotel has an atrium design and the hotel rented out the restaurant in the atrium to a private party, complete with a DJ. While likely fun for the attendees, anyone trying to get some sleep in the hotel at 1 am was not so pleased. We were staying on the 10th floor and it felt like we were almost next to the party. While the front desk staff apologized, the party continued, we couldn't sleep, and we were not offered a complimentary night.
