Here, you can discover the most authentic part of Barcelona where many exquisite and authentic restaurants are located, as well as bars that have been established for many years. The apartment is also located very close to several bus stops (Plaça d'Adrià / Miter - Mandri - V13, H6, 70, V11) and trains (Muntaner). Only 15 minutes away, you will find the heart of the city. When it comes to supermarkets there is a great variety just a few meters from the apartment. This bright apartment was designed to combine modernity and quality. At the entrance, you will find the fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils so that you can prepare your own meals during your stay if you wish. Next to the kitchen is the spacious living room and the garden with a private pool that will allow you to relax after a long day of sightseeing in the city. In the rest of the apartment, you will find 3 bedrooms: 1 with a double bed, and other two with 2 single beds, and two double sofa beds in the living room, as well as 2 complete bathrooms, created so you can be as comfortable as possible both with a bathtub and integrated shower; there is also a sink on the first floor. From washing machine, dishwasher, clothes iron, microwave to the coffee maker, without forgetting an excellent internet connection for our free Wifi, a flat-screen TV, as well as all the equipment you will need to feel at home. Doors scrape against floors, toilets aren't properly secured to the ground, everything is scratched and scuffed, doors squeak, the kitchen cabinets all hit one another. The unit was not that well-cleaned when we arrived. The sink was so clogged when we arrived that by day 3 we needed someone to come fix it. Communication with MySpace is spotty at best, it is often hard to get in touch with them. Even though the unit is listed as non smoking there is a distinct stale smell of cigarettes and must when you walk in. There are some positives: the shower in the master bedroom has great pressure, we did not have any problems with noise at night except occasionally from a neighbor and the location is very good. Rental needs significant TLC. It is very worn. As you can see from some of the pictures, there were broken boards on the deck and in the living room, the deck furniture was in disrepair, and the countertop by the stove was significantly cracked. The mattresses were not good & definitely need to be updated. The Wi-Fi was spotty & weak. Some blinds fell when we tried to use them; handyman came to fix right away tho. It felt like we were sharing the terrace with the neighbors who were constantly smoking (we are not smokers). There was confusion regarding renting the beach towels for 5 as it notes in the confirmation email. The management company in this location doesn’t have beach towels and did not know what I was talking about.I felt that there were significant issues with paying for the rental. We wanted to pay through VRBO but could not. For some reason, VRBO is OK with this. You need a link to pay with cc, but we were never given the link until a couple days before and then told it would be a 5% fee to use a cc. We were given a link for a wire transfer, which I was not comfortable with, and this method would not have met the requirement to be completed prior to our arrival. In the end, we paid cash and it was fine. The process felt scammy and very disjointed though.
