We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. This well-equipped apartment offers a spacious and comfortable living space, spanning 86 m2 and accommodating 4 people. Upon entering the apartment, you will be greeted by a tastefully furnished and fully equipped interior. The apartment comes with all the necessary furniture and appliances, ensuring a peaceful stay in Barcelona. The carefully chosen decoration and elegant design elements create a welcoming atmosphere that is both contemporary and cosy. Located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, just minutes from the Basilica of La Mercè, Las Ramblas, the Liceu, etc., you will have access to a vibrant and bustling neighbourhood with a variety of services around the corner. Explore the local shops, cafés and restaurants offering a wide range of cuisines and experiences. The area is also known for its cultural attractions and historical monuments, allowing you to immerse yourself in Barcelona's rich heritage. The apartment has a complete shower, complete kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning, central heating and also included WiFi. Please take into account the following important information before booking: \- Towels, sheets and toilet paper are included upon arrival, however, replacement or change during your stay is not included. \- Baby cot: Price: 30.00EUR per reservation. Not guaranteed, guests must request it 24-48 hours in advance and, if available, we will provide it. \-Extra guest: Each additional guest not included in the reservation will have a charge of 10 € per night. \-The Gothic Quarter is usually very lively both day and night, so it can be noisy. \- Late arrival: \- Our check-in time is from 3:00 PM. at 7 PM, Monday to Friday (consult us if you want to check in earlier). Outside of this schedule, we will charge 30€ in cash, after 10 PM it will be 50 EUR and from 1 AM 100 euros \- If the arrival day is a local or national holiday, weekends, the cost will be 30 EUR until 10 pm, after 10 pm it will be 50 EUR and from 1 am 100 euros \- If the arrival day is 24/12, 25/12, 26/12, 31/12 and 01/01 the charges will be as follows: 50 EUR until 22:00, from 22:00 100 euros and after 1:00 150 euros \- The Tourist Tax in force in Barcelona 2025 will be applied. (6.25€/person/night, for those over 16 years old and up to 7 nights). \- SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED under any circumstances. Receiving a complaint or having evidence of smoking in the apartment will result in immediate eviction from the apartment and a fine of at least 400 euros. Smoking is prohibited in the apartment and the patio. \- NO PARTIES OR MEETINGS ARE ALLOWED under any circumstances. If we receive a complaint and/or the police, security or neighbours intervene, you will have to pay a fine of 500€ (in addition to the police fine). The property will not be liable under any circumstances for thefts, burglaries or any removal of goods that may occur within the facilities of our tourist apartments. Guests are strongly recommended to take the necessary precautions for the custody of their valuables, including the use of safety boxes if available, and to keep doors and windows properly closed and secured. The space is open and well appointed. Sarah was very helpful at check- in and made some recommendations for dining. You do trade off some noise for the location but that comes with the territory. The roof terrace is lovely. My reason for a 4 rating instead of 5 is that the primary bath and bedroom has a distinct mildew odor, perhaps from the afternoon rains, but bothersome. There is a bakery near the entrance where we purchased pastries and coffees in the morning and enjoyed them on the apartment’s upstairs patio/balcony. Be aware that the single split unit air conditioner was located in the living area and was not strong enough to cool the entire unit on its own. The building is very old, and that was a large part of the charm, though we had issues with musty odors and it feeling cold and damp (Barcelona was unusually rainy during our visit, so that was likely the reason). There is a mini split for heat and space heaters, but it wasn't that comfortable inside with the cold, wet weather.
