"Wonderful stay in beautiful property with extensive grounds. All rooms are authentically decorated and impeccably maintained. The free cycles are a great addition making it easy to explore the local countryside, villages and vineyards (wine tasting). The large games room provided hours of entertainment and the lounge/dining room with log burner, a comfortable retreat for cosy autumn evenings. Gill & Mark are amazing welcoming hosts."

"We absolutely loved our week at the Green Shutters. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time in the pool, we found the gîte very comfortable, and Gers is definitely an undiscovered gem of a region. And to top it off Ron and Ann are wonderful hosts!"

"I have stayed here before and got a lovely welcome after a 5 years absence. Room was clean and comfortable, but noted the stairs carpet was showing some wear, which took a little shineoff the overall appearance, but not enough to spoil my stay"

"We had a lovely stay with family. there were six of us staying and the property was spacious. The three main bedrooms had ceiling fans which helped on hot nights. The children enjoyed the pool, however the pool was deep for them and we had to purchase some inflatables for them to get the most out of swimming as they were unable to touch the bottom. The area surrounding the cottage was very peaceful but within walking distance was the castle, restaurants and the medieval siege. The main town of Condom was about a 10 min drive away."
